The Exchange Student ( A Harry Potter Fan Fiction)

Prologue

A screeching owl flew high above the Fournier's house, dropping a letter on their driveway. Mrs. Fournier went outside to see what was causing a racket, she spotted a peach colored letter on the driveway. Hesitantly Mrs. Fournier walked over to it, " Did something happen to a family member" she thought, she picked it up and carefully read the addresser, the label read " Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry".

" Hogwarts?!?!" Mrs. Fournier said panic-stricken. " What does Hogwarts want to do with us?" she continued. At last she finally decided to open the unexpected letter and it read,

Dear Claire Fournier,

You've been invited to enroll into Hogwarts this year. You'll be starting in year 4 and will be sorted into a house. Here is your list for this year, have fun at Hogwarts!

Headmistress McGonagall,

Mrs. Fournier reread it over and over again until she decided to tell her own daughter Claire. She quickly walked to the house and bumped into Claire.

" Darling, you've been excepted to Hogwarts" she said.

" 'Ogwarts, but why 'Ogwarts" Claire said in a thick French accent.

" I don't exactly know, it might be because you've been failing classes at Beauxbatons" Mrs. Fournier stated.

" I was 'ot failing it was 'ery 'ard to pass" Claire replied and rolled her eyes.

" You're going to Hogwarts no matter what" she said. Claire rolled her eyes again and left her mother telling her what to do.

" We're going to Diagon Alley tomorrow" Mrs. Fournier yelled to her daughter. She slumped down into the chair next to her and once again started to read the letter over and over again, she couldn't believe Hogwarts was excepting Claire, what a bad choice.
