CHAPTER 1 THE FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL
As I fall asleep,I began to dream of a city. I began to walk though the city and noticed that some of the buildings are old and unstable. I tryed to turn down some of the other streets but a plastic like substance kept stoping me. So I keep going down the main street. As I began to go farther down the street the road began to turn into a slippery pink goo. Some of the building began to shake and crumble. The ground began to move me closer to a massive building. It had to be the biggest building in the city. As I got closer to the building, I noticed a huge green stone in the center of the building. It was surrounded with a golden rim. Once I got to the door,I noticed that the door was made out of dark matter with four golden crosses,one in each corner. In the center was the same green stone i saw on the building,but much smaller. When I pressed the door bell,the doors began to open if by magic. When the door finally open a dark shadow said
"hello there Zack".The shadow said with an ominous voice.
Then the shadow grabed me and pulled me in. The shadow throw me into the wall and I broke though the crumbling plaster and landed at the bottem of some stairs.so I thought to myself that I have to run.so I began to sprint up the stairs. Once I got up at the top I looked back to see if the shadow was there,but I could not see anthing. Then right as I turn around and there is the shadow standing next to me. He grabed me and began to say
"USE THE STONE , USE THE STONE". In a devilish tone.
Then the shadow's arm became a sword and right before the shadow could stab me my mother woke me up.She said
"its time for school'.in a very soft tone.
As I began to get up, I noticed that I had black marks where the shadow in my dream grabed me. When I toke my shower I tryed to scub off the black marks, but they would not come off. So after I got dressed, I had to run down the stairs to the kitchen.When I got down there my sister Amy asked me
"can you help me with my home work".she said with a curious look on her face.I said
"ya I can help you".I said with a grin.
After I finshed helping her with her home work, I had almost no time to eat my breakfast, so I just had some toast. Then I had to run out the door. The bus was almost here and then I saw her. A girl that I have never seen had my school uniform. As the bus was about to arrive I asked her
"Are you new here?". I said
"yes I am".She replied in a casual tone.
Once the bus arrived, we both got on and she sat next to me.She asked me
"whats your name".she said with a curious look on her face.
I said
"My name is Zack"
"Whats your name".I asked
"MY name is Jaonne".She said
Once we got to school, I noticed that she did not know where to go for her first class. so I walked up to her and asked
"Do you need help finding your classes". I said
"yes can you help me". She repiled in a soft tone.
So I took a look at her school schedule and I noticed that her schedule matched mine. Then I noticed that my schedule is not the same as it was yesterday. Then those words poped into my head
"USE THE STONE, USE THE STONE
After that I told her, follow me to the principles office to see where we both go.Once they told use we began to walk down the hall way, I noticed that all of the old teachers are not here this year. some of the teachers have to be stight out of college. They where younger then the old teachers. Also all of my friends are not here anymore and I see tons of new faces. That I have never seen before today. Once we got to the room the bell rang. Once I sat down I noticed that the text books looked diffent then what they where yesterday. when I look at the first few pages the started to mention stones. Also it gave me descriptions of what the different colors can do and what they are weak to.Then I saw the green stone that was in my dream. As I started to read about it the teacher called on me and asked me to answer the question on the board. At that moment the same voice that has be yell "USE THE STONE" tolled me the answer to the question. After that I looked at the power that the green stone has and it said
"life"
