"This world is cruel." I said.
"Agreed." Gene replied.
"I wonder when will my parents tell me?" I said.
"Probably soon." He replied. We got our homework done. It was getting late.
"I should get going." Gene said.
"Fine." I replied. We went downstairs. He got all his stuff and left. My dad was standing behind me.
"(Y/n), me and your mom need to talk to you." He said. Are they gonna tell me?
"Ok." I replied. We all sat down in the sitting room.
"We know this will break your heart but you need to listen." Mom said.
"I'm listening." I replied.
"You and your mom will be moving." Dad said. Time for my acting.
"Why?!" I asked.
"It's impossible for us to live together." Mom answered. Ok, I knew they had fights. But I never thought it will get this bad.
"Why cant I stay here?" I asked starting to tear up again.
"It just works that way." Mom answered.
"It doesnt make things better." I said.
"Maybe." Dad replied.
"So where are we moving?" I asked.
"To the country side." Mom answered. No way.
"So you're gonna seperate me from my friends and take me to a place where there's barely any people?" I asked.
"There will be a school around there. But I'll have to take you there by car." Mom answered.
"Can you wake me up now?" I asked.
"I'm afraid you're not sleeping." Dad answered.
"I wish I was. When are we moving?" I asked.
"This Sunday." Dad answered. So Gene was right.
"Whatever." I said and went to take a shower. I got dressed into my pjs and lyed down in bed. I grabbed my phone and decided to text Chloe.
You: Hi. I have bad news.
Chloe: Tell.
You: I'm moving.
Chloe: No way.😭
You: I cried twice.
Chloe: We r gonna have to meet up on Saturday. Wait, when r u moving?
You: Sunday.
Chloe: Ok. We have time.
You: I should probably go 2 sleep before I get caught.
Chloe: Ok. C u Saturday.
You: Good night.
I put the phone away and fell asleep.
