Parents know as soon as your best friend gets their license, your going to be spending a lot of time in the world with out them.
And if you have a boyfriend or a girlfriend, that also makes them feel like they're loosing you already.
Make note of this and take some time to earn their respect, and trust as much as possible so they don't restrict your freedom as you go through high school.
Let's be honest here, that would suck to have a curfew.
