A few days later, I had completely forgotten about the Presence I had discovered. I was back to my normal ways: stealing every sweet roll in sight. You see, I had had a slight addiction to sweetrolls since I had first tasted one. I loved the oh-so-sweet sugar powder, the delicious filling... The mead dripping off of it... But that's all not relevant. But, what is relevant, is the strange happening on one of the days I was out stealing sweetrolls. I was standing next to a guard, making small talk with him.
He told me, "let me guess. Someone stole your sweetroll?"
I laughed and replied, "no, someone has stolen your sweetroll!" I then proceeded to grab it right out of his hand, and covered it up with a cough.

I stretched out the palm of my hand and it stopped, as if hitting an invisible brick wall. Then, I tried to erase it from existence with the help of CHIM. But my attempts were in vain. The presence refused to be erased. It broke through the wall of force I had set in front of it, and set its smoke-black hands onto my shoulders. For some reason, this drained my power greatly. I took one last look at its ghastly red eyes, but then my own eyes rolled back into my head, and I blacked out...
