Hermione's POV:

We arrived at a run-down house.

I looked around, trying to see if this is the place we were supposed to be.

Ron pulled me forward, so I guess so.

I followed him into the house.

The floors creaked beneath our feet.

The house was dismal, with hardly any light.

"Ron, why are we here?" I asked.

"To show you how I have had to live since you left me." Ron growled, looking me in the eye.

I was frightened.

He pulled me along to a room.

Upon entry, I realized that it was a bedroom.

There was a large but ratty bed, a lamp, a bookcase, a chair, and a mat on the floor made of hay.

"Sit down." Ron said, pointing at the chair.

I sat down.

Ron muttered a spell.

I could barely hear him.

"Incarcerous." He said.

I had no time to react.

My wrists were bound to the arms of the chair.

A rope was tied around my middle, securing me to the chair.

I struggled against them to no avail.

Ron just grinned.

As I watched, helpless, Ron pulled out his knife.

Draco's POV:

Hermione was gone.

Where did she go?

I raced downstairs and checked the calendar.

It was a Sunday.

Hermione might have gone out.

I apparated to her favorite store and looked around.

She wasn't there.

Then I apparated to her favorite restaurant, which has now become the first place I took her, the soup restaurant.

Once again, she wasn't there.

I apparated to any of the places she might have gone.

She was not in any of them.

I apparated back to my house.

I checked all the rooms.

Once again, she was in none of them.

I paused, listening for any signs of her.

I hoped to hear the sounds of a faucet running, or the sound of a shower.

However, the house was oddly silent.

I made my way back up to her room.

I looked around for anything that would signify her departure.

However, there was nothing.

I made my way back downstairs.

I sat down at the table.

I put my head in my hands, defeated.

The house felt like before Hermione came.

Empty.

Quite.

Lonely.

I didn't know where she had gone.

If she had left, she would have left a note or woke me up.

I got up and searched the house for a note.

I did find one in her bedroom.

However, it wasn't from Hermione.

It read:

I have her.

Come to me and I'll give her back.

By midnight on Tuesday, it will be too late.

She will be gone.

~R

I only knew of one person that would sign a note "R".

Ron.

Well, at least he knows who has her.

However, he only has two days to find her.

Will he make it?

Idk.

Actually, I do, but still.

Well, bye.

Lots of love and Potter vibes, Vanessa
