My alarm clock went off, awaking me from my deep sleep. For a brief second I had forgotten about last night. Tears filled my eyes but I wiped my eyes because I refused to cry. I will always remember Angelica, and I will find a way to bring her back.

"Can you turn that thing off! We don't have classes today," Victoria was in the room! She was okay now!

"Oh ya! Sorry," I said, turning off the alarm clock, "So, what do we do today?"

"Well, they are serving breakfast and lunch but no dinner. So, you can go upstairs and get breakfast now. Between meals will be preparation, of course, I don't think you'll have to do any preparing. Gosh dangit! Now I'm awake, well better get up and go get breakfast." Victoria said, rising from her bed.

"Oh my God!" I said. Victoria looked extremely different. She now had long black hair that went to her mid-back. She was wearing a black dress that had spaghetti straps and went to her knees. Her face was extremely pale, and her purple eyes were the most noticeable feature.

"Finally got the 'Sight,' huh?" She asked.

"Ya, although, I'm not really sure what the 'Sight' is," I said.

"Well, there are two different worlds in one. The mythical world and the mortal world, you see, you were living in the mortal world and now you're kind of in both. Mortals cannot see the mythical world unless they are granted the 'Sight.' You can get it by read a book infused with magic or if a witch or warlock casts a spell on you. Mortals are what we call blind. They see us as our mortal forms." She explained.

"Okay, well then why did your eyes change that one day?" I asked, did the 'Sight' have something to do with it?

"I honestly don't know why. You see, I've lied to you, but it's to keep you safe. That tattoo on my neck isn't from abuse, it's called a 'Mark.' All witch's have them, the object in the middle determines what your special talent is. Mine has a spade and bubbles, which means I'm a witch of trickery and potions. The first day when you passed out, for some reason you only had a little bit of 'Sight.' You passed out because I took it away from you. The second time you passed out I tried to take it away from you again, but it didn't work. I don't know why," Victoria said, complete avoiding my question.

"What should I expect in the lunchroom?" I asked.

"Lots of different creatures, also, just a tip, don't make eye contact with anyone especially Zachary."

     "Why?"

"Well, some people will make you feel terrified just with their eyes; and Zachary, well, he's a demon. Everyone thought you were a demon at first too. Well, I'm gonna go to the restroom, I'll come back and then we can go get breakfast, okay?"

"Okay." I said. I was overwhelmed with so much new information that I had to sit down on my bed. Once I got my thoughts straight I got up and got dressed into my uniform, I remembered the envelope Angelica gave me. I started to tear it open when Victoria came in. I put the envelope under my pillow and walked with Victoria to the cafeteria.
