The wind whipped through Seán's short green hair, messing it up even more than it already was. His nose had probably lost feeling about ten minutes ago and his fingers were refusing to move but Seán just sat there, on his roof staring at the beautiful sky. The stars were shining brightly causing Seán to become mesmerised in their beauty, the cold winter night not bothering him any longer. He always comes out at night to watch the stars and the city dwellers of Athlone pass by.
That was one of the first memories we shared together, as friends.Seán William McLoughlin was his name, the man who entered my life, fucked it up and left just as fast.
It all started three years ago, I still remember the first time I saw the short teenager named Seán, it was in the 'Country Bean' cafe. He was sitting on one of their comfortable leather couches just watching the world pass by and this was before he had all his tattoos and green hair. He looked so young, innocent and lost but he was far from that. Seán was and still is the most down to earth person I know, and maybe thats one of the reasons why I fell so hard.
When my eyes rested on him I noticed that his body was ink-free and his hair was uncoloured, a natural mousey brown almost black colour. He looked so young and yet so closed in, like he hadn't experienced life or anything fun for a long time. His blue eyes sparkled with mischief and held so many different emotions as they darted around the busy Cafe, I sat at my table perplexed by this Magnificent human being.
His attire was simple, white shirt, ripped jeans and maroon vans. Yet he made the whole outfit look stunning, many people would stare at him and he obviously noticed. He just basked in the glory of it and you could tell, that he was enjoying the attention.
