Zara's p.o.v

"I'm bored" I say blackly as I stare at my older brother, Jeremy.

"Do something then or get out of my room into your own one" he says, eyes glued to his PlayStation.

"That sounds just as boring, Jeremy" I say, trying to get my self off of his bed.

"Make yourself some new friends, Zara. Just please get out of my room" he says, again.

"Fine yeah, whatever" I say, rolling of his bed and making my way into my room, grabbing my keys and phone to text my mom, who's at work, that I'll be at the pet store.

I walk into the automatic does to reveal my own dream world. Rabbits, lizards, hamsters, Guinea pigs, everything that I love. Just dogs were missing.

I walk over to the hamster section and see the perfect hamster, a little white cutie, it's a baby Syrian and it's beautiful.

He came over to the glass and popped his paws to look at my face.

"Oh my, hey lil' cutie" I say in a baby voice, pretending to stroke his paws.

"Hey" a voice says on my right. A guy was standing right next to me with the cutest smile and perfect hair. I recognise him from somewhere.

"Oh, I wasn't just talking to the hamster.." I say, i feel my face burning caused by the situation I'm in.

"Of course!" He says sarcastically, "Hey but that lil' guys cute" he says pointing to the white Syrian I was just talking to, "if you decide to get him, call him Bibby"

"Oh, whys that" I laugh.

"My last name. First names Reece by the way" he laughs again and it's so perfect.

"Zara" I say awkwardly smiling.

"Well Zara, see you around?" He says.

"Yeah, where you heading off to?" I ask, I really think this guy is perfect and would stalk him.

"Just to go and get cat food" he smiles.

"Cat person" I roll my eyes.

"Both, actually. But it's for my auntie"

"Oh, well can I get your number or something"

"Erm, yeah sure" he says as we arrange numbers and he waves goodbye to get his cat food.

I ask someone for help to get Bibby. Cute name. I also get some saw dust and this cute lil' teepee thing for his house, then the bedding and wheel. Lastly, I go over to the toy section and spot the cat food. Awh, he must've left already.

I get my hamster from the till in his little box and pay for the rest of the stuff and make my way over to my Land Rover. I pack everything up and take everything home.

I unpack all of the things I've bought and take the box into Jeremy's room.

"Hey I made two new friends" I smirk and he pauses his game for me to proceed. I open the box. "Bibby, and this boy called Reece in the pet store"

"Wait, you met Reece Bibby?" He asks confused, like he didn't believe me.

"You know him?" I ask just as confused.

"He went on Xfactor Zara and joined stereo kicks, then joined new hope club" he says, pressing play on his game.

I show him Bibby, but I'm still shocked at the Reece part.

"I knew I recognised his face! Stereo kicks was my band! Well in the few weeks I watched the Xfactor" I laughed at my self because Jeremy really wasn't bothered right now.

I use my old lizard glass cage with lid for my hamster, setting up all the toys and everything and letting him out.

Shall I wait for him to text me?

What if he's waiting for me?

I send him a quick text.

Zara: hey x

I wait nervously, sat on my bedroom floor in a messy bun and sweat pants because that what I always look like in the house.

Reece: heyy x

I panic, texting him back right away.

Zara: you okay? X

I sit waiting patiently, staring at my phone screen, waiting for the bubbles.

Reece: yeah, are you? X

Zara: I'm okay, I guess. Just a little bored. X

Reece: yeah? I'm with my friends rn. We can meet up? X

Zara: oh no! You stay with your friends. I'm sure they don't wanna meet a crazy person who talks to hamsters. X

Reece: now that's cute aha. Hey no worries, we were planning on going out anyway. X

Zara: you know what sure whatever aha X

Reece: zoo? X

Zara: I'm down! X

Reece: we will pick you up around 1? X

Zara: sure! I'm in beach road, right at the end X

Reece: I know where that is! See yah X

I did feel weird telling nearly a random person my address but I have nothing else to do and hey ho, he's cute.
