In the beginning they taught us to kill. Swat! The mosquito had been smacked into the world of death. The assassin Jade, was always a quick killer. She moved with stealth and swiftness. Not even a tiger could out camouflage her, or complete with her stalking skills. She was the best.

"Arysceli!" A woman yelled from far away.

"What mom!" Arysceli called back. Jade had returned back to the darkness and Arysceli had surfaced.

"You're friends are here, and why are you up there making all that nose?"

The girl looked around the room confused. She had been sure she was sleeping, what nose was she talking about? Oh no, Jade had gotten out again. Arysceli thought aloud.

"Not this Jade again Arysceli, you're to old for these little games you continue to play," Isabelle, Arysceli's mother said sighing. Arysceli looked up to see her mother standing in the doorway, with a disappointed look on her beautiful face. Her mother was a tall slender woman, with long, wavy, sandy-brown hair. She had almond skin and light brown freckles covered her face. The look she was giving Arysceli made her mad.

No one ever believes me. She thought.

She trudged downstairs, not noticing the mess that Jade had caused in her room. She watched as butterflies and fairies danced along the wall. They were always there, and she was used to them now. Her brother had told them they were her guardians. He was the only one to ever believe her.

Isabelle looked around shaking her head. That girl was going to be the death of her someday.

"Aeris, Darcie! Nice to see you lot here again. What is the plan for today?"

"Okay Arysceli!" Aeris said, rolling his eyes. She was talking in that silly British accent again, and he knew all to well, that she was lost for a second. Darcie gave Aeris a look that said, here we go again.

"Arysceli? Oh, but how many times must I tell you all, I am Detective Elizabeth Porter?" Arysceli, or Detective Porter gave them a questioning look.

Aeris had a smirk on his face as the "detective" turned around to get some juice out of the fridge. "Oh sorry detective, it always slips my mind, I always mix you up with Jade, or Arysceli." He mused. He found Arysceli's little muti-personality disorder semi-amusing.

"Have you guys seen my brother?" Arysceli said turning back around from getting Juice out of the fridge. Arysceli's brother Aaron seemed to pop up from time to time. He was always gone. He barely had anything in his room: just an old computer desk, swivel chair, a dell laptop, and a twin size bed. She couldn't remember the last time he'd popped in on them.

They rolled their eyes. Arysceli had resurfaced. "No." They both said in unison.

Darcie spoke up. "So were you going to the mall or not?"

Darcie was a short, petite girl. She had hair like crimson waves, and orange freckles decorated her heart-shaped face, and her almond shaped eyes almost gave her an in-humane look. Aeris though, was tall and muscular, he had dark brown hair, and sea-green eyes. All the girls at their school though that he'd make the perfect celebrity look-a-like for Jackson Rathbone, from twilight. He was the quarter-back of their school's football team. People, and even Arysceli herself, often wondered why he hung out with her. Of course everyone thought she was a nut, but Aeris, just thought that she was funny, and her antics keep their days interesting. All the "popular girls" at school though, mostly the cheerleaders and dance team that worshipped the ground Aeris walked on, thought he and Darcie, who also happened the be on the dance team, we just friends with her because she was pretty. That was shallow, but Arysceli was indeed a looker.

She had black curls, cascading down past her shoulders. She was medium sized and had mocha skin, she had an hour glass figure, and delicious curves, that would make any woman cringe admiringly, with a hint of jealousy. Her plump lips were soft-looking and pink in coloring. She had big, brown, doe-y, eyes and then, of course she was crazy. Who couldn't resist crazy and beautiful?

"Yeah," just let me grab my shoes. Arysceli said.

Up in her room, Arysceli was picking out an outfit. She had told Darcie that she was just going to grab her shoes, but of course, they should have known better.

Arysceli came down stairs in her red and pink flowered floral dress, that also had green leaves on it, crimson tights, and green-cargo jacket, and combat boots.

Darcie looked at her, and rolled her eyes. "Figured you'd come down in something new."

Aeris added " And it took you long enough too." He just figured she'd been up stairs switching people, while trying to get ready.
