In The Night

On The Run

        All I knew is that I had to keep going  and that nothing could stop me...well except the pack chasing after me. I don't understand why they want me here , actually I do...they need me to watch the pups while they hunt. Because apparently that's all they think I'm good at. But that doesn't matter cause it's in the past , I'm leaving and never coming back. It doesn't matter if I'm rogue, in fact I'm OK with that just as long as I'm no where near them. I could do it . I just had to get across the border then I'd be free. From my abusive family,  my abusive alpha... in fact just get away from everyone.  And I was so close when all of the sudden I felt teeth sink into my leg . I yelped and pulled my leg away.  I stood up and bared my teeth keeping my eyes on the alpha who was staring at me . I flattened my ears before speaking " Just let me leave Thorn what do you need me for any way ". He growled and stepped closer " You know why who would watch the pups and protect them " I gave a chuckle " obviously not me " I was still backing up. I was so close and they didn't even notice. Then I saw my chance Thorn tripped over a branch.  I turned and ran I skipped happily out of my old packs territory wagging my tail. I looked back to see my father whimpering,  and my tail drops . He was the only one who cared and I wanted him to come with me but I knew that his job as beta was more important than me . I howled a goodbye to him and he did the same. "I'll come back for you " I whisper to him. And with that I turn around and make my way off into the unknown.
