"Delilah, do you want to take a shower now?" I asked. "Yeah," Delilah said. "Me too," I said. I grabbed my shampoo and conditioner from my top drawer on my dresser and Delilah does the same. We grab our towels from the towel hook and went to the bathroom. We went over to the showers. They were see through!!! There was one other girl in the shower area. She was already in the shower. She looked to be 14. Delilah and I got undressed. I decided that there was no point trying to hide myself and it seemed that Delilah decided the same. We got into a shower(separate showers of course). The warm water running down my skin felt amazing. I really loved it here. I hadn't ran into any bullies yet and I actually had friends! Friends! It felt so amazing! I really wanted friends and now I had them! I shampooed and conditioned. I then got out and dried off. When I was half way done with drying off Delilah came out. She grabbed her towel and dried off. Then we wrapped our towels around ourselves and headed to our dorms. We got dressed there. "It's 8:55 PM," Daphne said. She left the dorm room to go to dinner. "Lets read," Delilah said. "Yeah," I said. I got my book and climbed onto my bed. Delilah did the same. We read until Daphne got back. "Hi Daphne," I whispered. Millie was asleep. she had been asleep since my shower. "Hey," Daphne whispered. "I'm going to take a shower," Daphne whispered. "K. Delilah, lets go brush our teeth," I said. "K," Delilah said. We went to the bathroom with Daphne. Delilah and I brushed our teeth and Daphne took a shower. After Delilah and I brushed our teeth we went pee and then went to sleep. the next morning I woke up at 7:15 AM. I woke up everyone in the dorm room. I brushed my hair and also Millie's hair. I changed into booty shorts and a blue tank top. I also got a blue T-shirt that said Happy and a black skirt for my academic classes. Millie pulled out a tank top and booty shorts. "Do you want clothes for your academic classes, Millie?" I asked. "Oh. I forgot about that. Yeah! I do!" Millie said. She pulled out a blue shirt with a horse on it. There were the words Happy Rider on the top. "Do you ride horses, Millie?" I asked. "No. My mommy says its to dangerous," Millie said. At 7:50 Am we were all ready and we headed to the area where all the classes took place. We split up there and headed to our classrooms. I headed to stretching class. The teacher directed everyone to sit down on the floor. I saw Camille and we happily sat next to each other. When the bell rang the teacher said,"Hello everyone! My name is Ms. Marckia As you know this is stretch class. Here we will be stretching and gaining flexibility. I want everyone to sit in splits. I slowly sat down in my splits. Camille did the same. I looked around the studio. Only a few people could not do the splits and those people were very close to being able to do it. "Good! No do center splits," Ms. Marckia said. I went into middle splits. Oh, I was so close! Just an inch off! I looked at Camille. She was a little more off the ground than me. Most people in the room were like me. There were just a few that could sit down. Then we did bad leg splits. Again, I was so close to sitting down like most people. "Now we are going to do over splits," Ms. Marckia said. There were elevated platforms at the back of the room. The platforms were like a foot high. I couldn't sit down. Quite a bit of people could sit down. Not Camille though and not me either. We kept stretching and stretching and stretching. Then the bell rang. "Everyone is excused!" Ms Marckia said. I went to the girls' bathroom. There were a ton of people there getting dressed. There were no stalls left. So I had to wait. Someone came out and I got dressed in the stall hurriedly. I really didn't want to be late! I quickly zoomed out of the stall when I was done. I then combed my hair with my fingers and ran to my Social Studies class. Delilah was already there dressed in short jean shorts and a crop top with the American flag on it and a dark blue tank top underneath. I sat at the desk next to her. "Hey, Delilah!" I said. "Hey!" Delilah said. The bell rang. "Hello class! My name is Mr. Rani," the teach said. "In this class we will be learning about history because this is Social Studies!" Mr. Rani said. We spent the class learning history. Then the bell rang and Mr. Rani excused us. I went up in the elevator to the third floor where my Math class was. When I stepped into the classroom I searched around for any of the people I met. There was only two people who could be in this class and I already knew that Delilah wasn't in here so that left one person that could be in this class. But Camille wasn't. So that left 0. I sat at a random desk. Thats when I notice the cutest boy ever. He had brownish blonde hair, pale skin, red lips, and sparkly blue eyes. I immediately melted in my seat. And he was sitting right next to me! The bell rang. "Hello class! My name is Mrs. Ralaya! Please turn to the person to your left and say your name!" the teacher said. Cute boy just happened to be only my left! He turned to me and I turned to him. He smiled shyly revealing amazingly white teeth. "Hello! My name is Chase whats yours?" he said shyly. "My name is Ila," I said shyly. "Pretty," he said kindly. I smiled ear to ear. He smiled ear to ear too. "Does he like me?" I thought. All throughout Math class I thought about Chase. When the bell rang I went to the bathroom and changed. I then went to hip hop. Daphne was already there dressed in a light blue sports bra and black booty shorts. She waved me over. "Hey, Ila!" Daphne said. "Heya!" I said. When the bell rang the teacher said,"Hello everybody! My name is Mr. Kany! In this class we will learn how to do hip hop! Pop and be you! Lets start with some warm ups. We are going to step in a square to warm us up and get our muscles moving!" He stepped in a square and everyone copied. Everyone knew how to do it including me. We kept going through hip hop moves. They were all review for everyone. At the end of class Mr. Kany said,"Great job today everybody! I'm glad you guys all knew how to do this stuff because I meant this day to be review." The bell rang and we all rushed out of class. I headed to lyrical. On the elevator there were many other people on it. I squeezed in. When it got to the 9th floor I stepped out. 9th floor was where my lyrical class was. I stepped through the door. Delilah wasn't there yet. I noticed Chase. He was in this class too! Score! I beamed. Then Delilah came in. The class was great! The teacher, Ms. Laylie, was super nice and great at dancing. Today she focused on expression. Then the bell rang. I went through all my classes. Some of which had Chase or one or more of my friends. Chase was also in my Ballet class. So was Millie. Millie hugged me when I walked in. "How has your day been going?" I asked. "Great!" Millie said with a huge smile. Ms. Kaysene, the teacher, announced that we would also be doing ballroom some days in this class. And that we would be partnered with a boy. I hoped that I could be partnered with Chase! Ok, I had to admit it. I had a huge crush on Chase! Strength class was hard. I muscles burned. In the class where you could do whatever dance you wanted to and it could change each day the teacher, Ms. Yally, said that she had an announcement to make. "Later in the year we will have a competition. It will be recorded and be put on TV. You may have watched the show before. It is called Dance Like you Meant it," Ms. Yally said. I gasped. I knew that show! I have heard of it before! "You will be performing a dance from each dance category. Each round three people get eliminated," Ms. Yally said. This was my chance to show the world that I could do stuff. That I was good at something. Show the bullies at school. Show everyone! But could I do it? Could I actually win the competition? There were so many other good dancers. I decided to work extra hard. I would work super hard. After class I went back to my dorm room. Daphne was already there. She was sitting on her dresser chair. "Hi Daphne. Did you here about the competition?" I asked. "Yeah. I'm nervous and excited!" Daphne squealed. "Same!" I squealed. Delilah walked in. "Guys! The competition!" Delilah said quickly. "I know! Isn't it awesome! I'm excited and nervous," I said. "Same!" Delilah and Daphne said in unison. "As you already know, Ila," Daphne added to her "Same!" Millie walked in a minute after Delilah. Millie looked tired and upset. "Are you ok, Millie?" I asked soothingly. She burst into tears. "A nine year old called me little and wimpy!" cried Millie. Delilah, Daphne, and I all ran to her side. We hugged her. "Oh, its ok, Millie," I said. "They are just jealous because your so strong!" I said. "And amazing at dancing!" added Delilah. "Exactly!" Daphne agreed. Millie stops crying. She sniffles. "I love you, guys," Millie said. I smiled. "We love you too," I said. I grabbed some tissues from the top of my dresser. I wiped Millie's eyes with them. Daphne brushed Millie's hair. Delilah smoothed out her clothes. "All better," I said. "All better," Millie said smiling. A few minutes late Mom and Dad face-timed me. It was our deal. That if I wanted to go to this school I had to face tie her every night. Mom and Dad's face appeared on my phone's screen. "Hi, hun!" Mom and Dad said. "Hi, Mom! I met some really nice people! They are all my friends! One of them is not in my dorm room but the rest are!" I said. "Delilah, Daphne, Millie, come on over here!" I said. They all came over to me. I pointed to Delilah. "This is Delilah. She is the same age as me, 12," I said. I pointed to Daphne. "This is Daphne. She is 15," I said. I pointed to Millie. "This is Millie. She is 5," I said. "Oh, how amazing! Hello everyone! So glad to meet you!" Mom and Dad said. "So glad to meet you too!" Delilah, Daphne, and Millie all said in unison. After the face-time with Mom and Dad I looked at the time on my phone. 6:30 PM. "It's 6:30," I said. "Who wants to go to the coffee shop down the street?" Daphne asked. "Are we allowed to exit the building?" I asked. "Of course!" Daphne said. "We can all get hot chocolate!" Daphne said. "Yay!" Millie said. She bounced up and down in her little white sneakers. "I'm in!" I said. "Definitely!" said Delilah. We went down to the exit and exited the dance school. the dance school was on the end of the street. The sidewalks were crowded. We squeezed through the crowds. We all kept a good eye on Millie. When we got to the coffee shop there was no line. Daphne ordered four hot chocolates. She turned to us. "On me," Daphne said. "Gee, thanks!" I said. "Thank you!" Delilah said. We got our hot chocolates and sat at a table. I sipped at the steaming goodness. "Mmm," I said. Millie bounced up and down in her seat. We drank our hot chocolate. I looked at the time on my phone. "Its 7:15. We should get going," I said. "Yeah. Lets go," Daphne said. We headed back to the dance school. Back in the dorms we all hugged Daphne for the wonderful treat. At dinner when Delilah and I were heading over to a table where Camille was sitting at waiting for us a girl ran right into me. On purpose! It was obviously on purpose! My whole tray dropped. Most of it on my shirt. Cheddar soup all over my blue shirt. Salad dressing to top it off. Everything that wasn't on my shirt fell to the ground. The girl who rammed into me smirked. I noticed that there were other girls wit her. They were smirking too! "OMG! Ila! Are you ok!?" Delilah cried. I was frozen. Bullies. There were bullies just like my old school. I dropped my tray right there on the ground. The whole cafeteria was looking at me. Camille was running towards me. I ran out the door. I went into the elevator. Closing the door before anyone could come in. I went to my floor and ran to the bathroom. I locked myself in a stall and cried. A few minutes later I heard voices. It was Delilah and Camille. They heard me crying. "Ila? We thought you were in here. Don't worry its all ok," Delilah said. "Yeah," Camille said. "Guys. I love you guys but can you just leave me alone for a little while?" I said my voice cracking. "Sure, Ila. We love you too," Delilah said. They left the bathroom. I continued to cry for a little while. When I was all cried out I stepped out of the stall. I looked at myself in the mirror. My clothes were a mess and I noticed some soup in my hair. My eyes were red and puffy and I looked so sad. I quickly ran to my dorm hoping no one saw me. I quickly got stuff out of my dresser. I got out PJs, towel, shampoo, conditioner, and a brush. I didn't turn my face to Delilah, Daphne, and Millie. Delilah, Daphne, and Millie all stayed quiet when I came in. I guess Delilah had filled Daphne and Millie on what had happened to me. I quickly ran to the bathroom and jumped in the shower. I was the only one showering right then. I realized I still had more tears because as soon as I stepped into the shower I found myself balling again. I was so emotional! After my shower I dried off and brushed my hair. Then I got dressed. I headed back to my dorm. I went straight to my bed. I put my headphones on and connected them to my phone. I listened to Waiting For The Rain. It was the Nightcore version. It made me feel better. I fall asleep listening to it. When I wake up I feel much better. The song was still playing in my ears since I put it on repeat. When I sit up Delilah sits up. "Ila? Are you feeling better?" Delilah asks. "Yes. I am," I said. Delilah smiles. "I'm so glad!" she said. "Ila is feeling better! Ila is feeling better! Ila is feeling better!" Millie chants. "Yay!" said Daphne. I was still a little bit shooken up from what happened yesterday. But I was ok. I felt much better.
