Edd x Reader

"Damn, how could I lose?!" (Y/n) exclaimed loudly chucking an empty cola can on the floor with a loud sigh.

"(Y/n), of course you were gonna lose a cola drinking contest when you're going against Edd!" Tom laughed and got up from the couch, walking past the large pile of cola cans and into the kitchen to get another drink.

Currently you were expressing your sadness by laying on the floor, your (h/l) (h/c) hair sprawled everywhere while looking up at a proud Edd.

He smiled triumphly, "Haha I won, I won, all I had to do was drink 36 sodas!"

"You're insane." You said flatly, flashing him a small smile.

"Guys I got more cola!" Matt yelled while walking in, then he stopped, looking at the two of you. "Aw man, did I miss who won?"

"You knew who was gonna win!" You replied then hoisting yourself up gesturing for another soda.

Edd shot a quick glance at you, then the soda "What, you want another soda?!" he questioned loudly.

"Of course" You smirked while Matt cautiously pulled one from the six pack in his hand and handed it to you. You then turned your attention towards a scared Edd

"(Y/n)...what are you gonna do...?" He said slowly, while getting up and backing away.

You then quickly shook up the cola and pounced at Edd while pulling open the top of the can with your finger.

"Eek!" Edd screeched while waving his hands in defence, but he was too late, the cola sprayed all over him. After wiping his eyes with his green hoodie he looked up at Matt, "M-matt throw me a cola!" he yelled.

Surprised, you gave Matt a fast glance as if asking for another soda too. Which he threw a soda a both of you.

You could see the growing smile on Edd's face as he shook up one just like you did and with a 'pop' the can was open and sprayed all over you.

"Gahh sticky!" You yelled while grabbing your cola and spraying it at Edd. This happened for about five more minutes till you and Edd collasped on the floor, back to back with him and breathing hard.

"Ew, your guys' faces are super gross, I would never let that happen to my beautiful face" Matt commented, hastily handing you both wet wash cloths, acting as if you had a disease.

After wiping the cola off your face you spoke up, "Ugh my clothes are all messy too." You see, reader-chan was spending the night at the boys house, so all she had was her pajamas that she was wearing.

"So are mine" Edd laughed while hopping up off the floor and holding his hand out for you. Puzzled, you looked up at Edd and slowly grabbed his hand. "You want clean clothes, right?" You nodded. "Okay come on" He pulled you up all the way and started walking towards his room. Only for Matt to give him an eyebrow wiggle, which he blushed a light pink and started to walk faster, pulling you along too.

Edd stopped at the door and gave the handle a swift turn, the door opened with a loud creeking noise. When you both walked in, the room was very dim, the only lighting was a small lamp by the nightstand. He let go of your hand and shut the door, then strolling over to his dresser drawer and rummaging through it, his back facing you. So you sat on his bed.

"Green hoodie, greed hoodie, green hoodie, oh look! A green hoodie" He said, the he turned around to look at you "will a green hoodie work (y/n)?"

You let out a giggle "Of course Edd, thanks" you grabbed the hoodie and proceeded to pull off your wet top.

His mouth suddenly dropped as his eyes roamed up and down your body. He wanted to get you alone, yes, but he hadn't thought this part through.

You looked up "Edd?" that snapped him out of his gaze and his spastically tried to pull off his own hoodie.

"O-oh s-sorry (y-y/n)" he stuttered while being a blushing mess

"Haha, that's quite alright" you replied slipping on his green hoodie.

"..."

"What's wrong?"

"I'm stuck..." Edd squeaked

You laughed loudly "You're silly Edd" jumping up off the bed, you grabbed his waist and started to pull the hoodie off him without any pain. Once it went past his head he looked at you with an awkward smile.

"T-thanks" he blushed

You then got closer and fixed his messy chocolate brown hair, which he never took his eyes off your face. Once you were done you gave him a big smile.

"All done~" You never moved so you were face to face with him, starting to blush hard yourself, you were about to back up, but he grabbed your wrist and squeezed his eyes shut while leaning in...but he backed away.

"I-I c-can't do t-this" He covered his face with his hands and shook his head, he was redder than a cherry.

"Edd, you don't have to be embarrassed," You said softly "I like you too" he shot up his head and looked at you.

"Y-you do?" He was slowly gaining his confidence back but the blush was still visible.

"Why wouldn't I?" You laughed and pulled him over to the bed. When he sat down you cupped his face and smiled at him, your cheeks dusted pink, you gave him a gentle kiss. Both of you closed your eyes, savoring the moment. His touch was light and his lips were soft, you loved it.

When you broke apart, he held you closer, gazing at you through half lidded eyes.

"I really like you (Y/n)."

"I really like you too, Edd."
