Chapter 1

"Watch where ur going" I say as I pick myself up off the ground after some guy bumped into me.
"I don't have to" The guy said with some sass.
"Wow u really are a jerk" I say as I walk away from him not even caring what his response would be. I was at the mall and I was shopping because tomorrow is my 18th birthday. My name is Faye Gonzalez. I am a proud latina. I know my name sounds white but I am Mexican. I was walking into Aeropostal when I see a girl that looks familiar. Once I figure out who it is I run up to her and hug her. "Omg Lexi I missed u so much" I said while hugging my best friend that I haven't seen in almost 2 years since she moved to Honduras with her parents. " I missed u too Faye" Lexi said while hugging me back. I could tell that at any moment we would start crying together.
"We have so much to catch up on" We both said at the same time. We went to sit at the food court but didn't order anything.
"So how was Honduras?" I ask Lexi. As if she knew I was going to ask she gives me her phone to show me the pictures she took and it was beautiful over there. She showed me a picture of when she went hiking and it was beautiful. She has a talent for taking pictures.
"It was beautiful and the best thing was that even though I went over there to live I helped so many people who don't have much money. "
"That is awesome. I wish I could live with the fact knowing that I helped people's lives"
" You are going to graduate soon so why don't u come with me when school Is over?" Lexi asked me.
"That is the best idea I have ever heard!" I said super excited.
"So do u have anybody special in ur life" Lexi asked me wiggling her eyebrows.
"Does food and Netflix count?"
"Yes, yes it does"
" Then I do have somebody special in my life"
After that we both started laughing so hard and everybody was just looking at us like we were crazy but we didn't care. We are the best of friends and we don't care of people judge us.
* At my house *
Lexi and I were at my house watching Netflix when I get a text.

Unknown: Hey
Me: Who is this?
Unknown: Babe its me
Me: First of all I think u have the wrong number because I don't have a boyfriend because I don't have time for jerks like them
Unknown: Then who is this?
Me: My name is Faye who is this?
Unknown: My name is Sam, Sammy Wilk
Me: Well good to know Sam now never text me again.

And with that I blocked this unknown person.

"Who was it?" Lexi asked me not taking her eyes off me because this was her fav/saddest episode of The 100.

" Idk some wrong number " I said while putting my phone on the night stand.

After that Lexi and I stayed up until about 3 in the morning watching Netflix and talking.
