Chapter 22

Monday came.

And the first question I asked in twenty-four hours was,

"Why the fck are they here??"

Yeah. A good way to start off my morning vocabulary. But you know what's better than cussing so early in the morning? Simple, seeing a bunch of reincarnated stars with unnatural personalities that can make any normal girl raise an eyebrow at them.

Sasori laughed and pulled me by the waist,

"They will be studying here for the rest of the school year, Sakura."

I gently pushed him away and pointed an accusing finger at his so-called "friends".

"ARE YOU CRAZY?! THESE FREAKS AREN'T EVEN QUALIFIED TO GO TO SCHOOL! THEY'RE OVER-AGED!!!"

A number of complaints were heard from the group, but Hidan really hit a nerve when he backfired, "Oh, yeah?! Well, if they let a fucking bitch like you study here, then I see no fucking problem!"

I deadpanned.

"Bastard. You're like what? Ten thousand years old? How many stars are there that looks like an ass like you!?"

The silver-haired man tried to straggle me. It was a good thing Tobi and Kisame held him back.

"BITCH! I'M IMMORTAL!"

I rolled my eyes. "Yeah, yeah. And I'm a jar of Nutella."

Beside me, Sasori laughed aloud and patted my head as if I were his puppy. "HAHAHA! Don't be so mean, darling. They're friends."

Tobi butted in, "Yeah! Tobi assures you Sakura-chan won't even notice we're here!" With that loud mouth of yours, I doubt it. I wanted to say, but I forced myself to stay calm and let them be.

Pein, Konan-chan and the others were unusually silent. I shrugged it off but when a pair of onyx eyes met mine, I couldn't help but raise an eyebrow at the man. "Is there any problem, Itachi-san?" He smiled meaningfully and said,

"Just be careful of what you wish for."

My brows furrowed in confusion. But before I could bug him about it, Naruto and Hinata pulled me away from the group.

"Ah! Hey, where are you taking me?!"

"SAKURA-CHAN! YOU NEED TO SEE SOMETHING!"

They dragged me across the hallway. Naruto had this playful and energetic aura as always. But Hinata really surprised me on this one. "Hinata?" She looked at me apologetically and murmured, "Sorry, Sakura-chan.. but Naruto-kun asked me for help.. and I..." and then she  blushed.

I sneered at the Hyuga's antics until we finally came to a stop.

"I cannot effin' believe this.." were the only words that left my mouth.

The other students started whispering to each other, while some are at awe of what's inside our classroom. Well, I can't blame them! Even I'm amazed. Because right in front of me, a huge pink teddy bear sat on my desk.

Huge enough to occupy five desks for that!

Other than that, a single rose rested on my chair along with a glossy card. I pick it up, and read what's written inside:

To: Ms. Sakura Haruno

I told you. Might as well fall for me, Haruno.

From: Sasuke Uchiha

I crumpled the card and took in deeo breathes. Remembering what Sasuke told me yesterday at the cafe.

Mark my words, I will find ways to have you.

"AAAAARGH! I'M SO GONNA KILL YOU UCHIHA!" I vent my frustration out of punching the giant teddy bear that smiles creepy at me. Or was it just my imagination?

"Sakura??"

I turned to to voice and as expected, I saw Sasori staring at me in confusion. He then stepped closer and snatched the crumpled card on the ground before reading it.

I watched as his eyes twitched. Sasori glared at the giant pink teddy bear and if looks could kill, this fluffy creature would be dead on the spot. The redhead radiated a gloomy yet murderous aura.

Inwardly, I smiled. He's jealous.. I don't know if he notices it, but Sasori looks so adorable when he gets jealous.

"It looks like my brother finally made his move."

We averted our eyes towards the door and there Itachi-san was. Leaning on the frame, smirking at us. But that's not what caught my attention though..

"B-Brother??"

He nodded. "Yes. Obviously, Sasuke and I are brothers. Take care. I know how reckless that Uchiha can be." After that, he waved off.

I was left dumbfounded.

I looked at Sasori. He was still scowling.

And then I noticed his arm protectively wrapped around my waist. After a few seconds, he spoke,

"He's dead meat."
