The carriage took me to Miromara. On the way I read some of my conóchs from my shelf. I would always read them to Cinasé when she had some free time. They weren't her favorite but they had memories. I laugh when Cina insults the speaker for being so needy. "Principessa!" I jump slightly. I turn my head to the source and see the coach with the door open. "Oh I'm sorry." I climb out. I bet he was cling my name for awhile. My mistake though. I'll see Cina again, it's not like she's dead. "Thank you." The coach nods and takes out my things. I swim to the entrance of the palace. The guards stop me before I could pass them. "Who are you?" One of them demanded. "I am Principessa Catonié Di Miromara of Stalfeo. Can I pass or no?" I ask in a bored tone. They look me each other then me up and down. The other smirks. "Prove it." I raise an eyebrow. "Alright." I close my eyes and lift my tail activating the power that comes from my Father's side of the family. Only the royal family of Stalfeo is able to do this and it's passed down through the royal bloodline. I open my eyes revealing the glowing amethyst of my eyes and the power within my tail. The guards stiffen at the sight. Seconds later of comprehension, they bow apologetically. "Deeply sorry." I nod and swim pass them after deactivating my family's gift. "It is fine, just do not step out of your places again." My coach follows with my bags in both hands. Entering the palace, a series of memories flash through my mind. Majority of everything is the same as it was seven years ago. The only difference is the wall color. Instead of a sea green it was a smooth turquoise color. While I was familiarizing myself, a maid swimming by notices me. "Oh, Principessa, welcome. I'll inform the Regina and the King of your arrival." I nod and wait for someone to show me to my room. Remembering the coach, I whistle, making my lounge swim to my sides. "You may go. Thank you for your time." I dismiss the coach. He bows then swims out the way we came. I make my way deeper into the room. I'm actually ready happy to be back in Miromara with my other family. It's been so long, I hope they haven't changed too much. Not paying attention to where I was going, I numb into someone. I stumble a bit but quickly regain my composure. "I'm sorry, I didn't see you." A Deep but soft voice apologizes. It's obviously a male so I look up to see the most handsome face I have ever seen in lifetime. His long black hair gleamed along with his bright hazel eyes. My heart begins to beat faster and faster the longer look upon him. I stand up straight. "It's okay I __" I take a sharp breath when my chest decided this to be the time to begin to throb. "Is there something wrong?" Concern is heard in his voice as he tries to assist me but I don't allow him. "It will pass. Just give it a minute." I manage to breathe out. "Are you sure?" I nod. Right on cue, the pain subsides. I compose myself. "I apologize. That happens occasionally." The handsome guy nods in understanding. "If I may, what is your name?" I tuck a stray piece of hair that escaped one of my braids behind my ear. "It's only polite to say your own name before requesting someone else's." He chuckles at the statement. "That is true, My name is Mahdi crowned Prince of Matali." My eyes widen slightly. This is Serafina's betrothed? He's more handsome than I thought he'd be. I snap out of daze once I realized I was staring and gave him a friendly smile. "Nice to meet you as well, I am Catonié Di Miromara from Stalfeo." He returns my smile with his own kind smile that took my breath away. Serafina is very lucky to have someone like him as her betrothed. It's almost unfair that she'll receive more when I die before I'm at the appropriate age to marry.
"Caté?" I heard from a distance. Well speaking of the devil. I turn my gaze towards the source, and as expected, to see my favorite cousin. "Sera." I reply happily. We hug each other excitedly. "I didn't know you were coming?" I give her a confused look. "Didn't Aunt Isabella tell you? I'll be living here for awhile." Her smile was so bright it crushed my soul. "That's great. I've really missed having you around." I nod sadly then quickly perk up. "Well now we get to hang out like we used to." She hugs me again but just as fast as she did Serafina pulled away. "Mahdi, I didn't know you were here." He nods. "I got here a few minutes before Catonié." Serafina swims over to him, her bright copper hair following behind her, along with her copper brown tail that reflected her supple pink fins and glints. It hurts to think about what I have been told to do to her. When I turn around to look away, only to come face to face with mesmerizing sea blue eyes. They were endless pole of ocean. He blinks and swims backwards. I almost didn't want to move but I know I might look like a statue. "Sorry." He says. His voice was so smooth and alluring. He swims past me and down the corridor. What was that feeling? "Caté? Caté?" I blink twice a look at Serafina. "Yes?" I respond. "Are you okay?" I nod reassuringly at seeing her worried expression. It immediately went away and in its place was excitement. "Good because I'm sure my mother would want to see you." I nod again still not fully focused. "Actually would it be okay if I just rested for a while?" The worry returns to her eyes. "It was a long ride here, so forgive me that I'm just a bit tired." She nods understanding and flashes her bright smile. "Okay, I'll show you to your room" Her eyes move to Mahdi's silence form. "I will talk to later." He returns the smile she directed at him and he watches us swim away.
