Yan-chan V.S. Splicer

Swallowed by her dazed stupor, Ayano likely would've completely been tossed aside by the charging Big Daddy if not for Nier pulling her out of harms way. It entirely shocked the ravenette after this happened, her dark eyes widening as she blinked and looked around the area. Although she had complained about Nier before, he actually had managed to make himself useful this time and save her life.

Hm, Nier, maybe you're actually someone I might not completely loath with my entire mind, body, and soul.

She stumbled after he let go of her, finally being shaken enough to realize they were in quite the dangerous predicament. She cursed under her breath, wishing she could keep these foggy hazes more under control. Ever since she had met Senpai, Ayano couldn't help but fall into them sometimes. He alone had awakened the strange occurrences inside her. She fell into one whenever she got too close to him, or she was imagining the ways she wanted to torment those who stood between herself and Senpai's love.

But once she was freed from the bothersome haze, Ayano made sure to rush away from the dangerous battle zone where the others took on the Big Daddy. By sheer will and determination alone, Yan-chan could almost pull of feats that may have been considered super human, but the girl wasn't willing to risk her life and play hero fighting alongside the others. No, in this predicament heroism certainly wasn't needed. Senpai wasn't here, so nobody needed protecting. The only individuals she even deemed a bit worthy of being useful were Nier and perhaps the other bloody man who had rescued her before, so she hoped they would make it out okay, but they certainly weren't important enough to her that they were worth fighting for. The only person she needed to keep safe was herself.

So the high schooler made sure to dart around and avoid the battle. It was a difficult action to perform, as she had to avoid many of the others and the Splicers that had been rampaging through the area as well. Eventually, with the others focused on the battle and most of the area consumed, Ayano found it entirely possible. The girl ended up cornered by a Splicer feeling it jump her and pin her to the ground. Angrily, the girl struggled in its grasp.

"Let me go," she hissed, feeling the monster's grip on her tighten.

I'm important.

"I need to live."

Senpai needs me.

"I can't die."

I still have to... kill... Kokona...

Ayano suddenly stood up, determination pumping through her veins like a magic potion giving her power. Effortlessly, she tore the creature away and rolled back her shoulders. Her dark eyes dilated and her expression became vacant and lifeless. The form of the creature before her morphed in her mind, a hallucination clouding her to think the creature wasn't even a Splicer at all...

"I can see clearly now," she said, her voice hollow as the creature trudged toward her again.

A giggle escaped her lips.

"I can see so very clear!"

The monster moved in closer...

"You want to take my Senpai away from me by robbing me of my life. You think death will do us part, but really..."

The creature readied itself to lunge at her again.

"It's you who will die."

Ayano drew her knife and plunged it deep into the skull of the beast. She then pulled the knife out and quickly plunged it in again, her last attack before the defeated Splicer fell to the ground. Once it hit the ground, she jumped the creature and pinned it down by the throat with one hand while she repeatedly continued to stab it with her knife in the other.

Stab stab stab stab...

She stabbed the dead monster in the face, torso, and even removed her hand after a while so she could stab it in the throat. She stabbed the creature so many times that it began to look like mush after a while, a disgusting clump of flesh and guts by the time she was finally through with it. Once the slaughter was over, the young girl's clothes were splattered in a devilish crimson.

"Th-There, Senpai, you're safe now. Kokona is dead."

Giggle giggle.

"Isn't that nice?"

Giggle giggle.

"Now we can be together..."

"...forever. <3"

Thank goodness there is a big battle going on right now or someone may have saw her and realized she was flipping insane. : |
