Miranda in media

Sanaa POV

For the past hour Thomas and I have been cruising around joking and laughing like old times trying to find a place to stop and eat that's open in late hours such as this.Even at 3:00 in the morning L.A. is a roaring city it's angels still roaming her streets.

"IHOP was back up the road ya know." Thomas informs me, gesturing behind us with a head nod.

"Too crowded and cliche" I mutter while I focus on sending a lengthy text to both Miranda and Pam, my friends.

Thomas chuckles "I almost forgot...you're hard to please," he jokes, glancing towards me then back to the road, "and if you don't get off your phone I'm takin' it up so you can actually give me the attention I deserve." He says in all seriousness, that earns him an eye roll.

"Ok, Daddy." I chuckle and toss my phone in my purse.

He smirks "keep it up if you're trying to get me to park this car'' he confidently   admits and I begin to blush as I shift in my seat.

"Goodness I was playing" I laugh exasperatingly .

"Where you, now?" He pokes fun.

Before I begin to defend a flashing red sign catches my attention in the far distance."Hey," I tap Thomas's shoulder to gain his attention which he gladly give me with a hum "switch lanes, I think that's a diner" I point towards the building.

"Will do" he switches lanes, we are now directly in front of the flickering sign and I can now see it reads Granny's.Thomas examines the humble building and sneers at it's appearance.

"Really?Do you really want to eat here?" He motions to the small building confusion etched in his features as he parks in the lot.Taking in the establishments appearance I don't essentially see anything wrong with it, it more so looks like somebody's childhood home a cabin in the woods so to speak with an array of flowers, most being daisies, hanging on its porch.

"Yeah," I shrug "I see no reason why not.Pam and I have gone down this road plenty of times and not once have I noticed it," I take one last look at the flickering sign that seems to grow brighter "Why not check it out is what I thought."I answer him.

"Speaking of them.Have either one them texted you back or anything ?"He ask in hope of a positive answer.

"Hmm,well, I would know if a certain somebody allowed me to have my phone," I look towards him and he doesn't reply, I let go of a breath "no, no they have not'' I give him a more appropriate answer.

"That's better.Lets go eat at the place that we will remember you chose."

"You want this to weigh on my conscious forever if it sucks, don't you?" I claim.

"Thats the goal" he nods and I laugh at his honesty as he steps out the car, being the gentlemen he is he comes to open my door, he's always been a bit old fashioned like that. He gives me his hand to help me out and I gladly accept it. The cold wind hits my face and my bare legs, Thomas pulls me in closer to his side to shield me from the harsh wind.

"Thanks.." I breathe out my own breath forming in front of me.

"Anytime, Sanaa" he utters with a smile while supporting me as I attempt to walk in my heels.

A loud dinging noise announces our arrival when we step through the door and we are soon greeted by a grey-haired old woman wearing a bright yellow apron ,with a wrinkled but friendly face, her wide glasses covering most of it. "Table for two?" She questions sweetly her voice cracking. Thomas nods his head, she then directs us to our table for two. I take my time to look around, it's very quaint and humble. The heat from the large fireplace warms the diner and I find myself needing to remove my jacket.I like this place it has relaxing aura, in the best way to describe it.
