Ark/ A New Step

The First Step

" Ow, where am I. AND WHAT IS ON MY ARM!"
" I can't move and I'm so ti...."

"Look over there, who's that on the beach."
"That is no one from our tribe sir, should we help them?"
"They are injured let's take him back to camp."

"Where am I?"

"Welcome to the tribe of Sonway. And this is camp Crowgon."
"Who might you be?"

"My name is Max."

"Well hello there Max, I am the one in charge around here, I am the Tribe Leader, Miss Piper."
"It is an honor to welcome you here."

Miss Piper was elegant woman. With glazing skin and beautiful blonde hair in a braid. Her blue eyes pierced Max's soul. She stuck out her hand for Max to shake. Max blushed, he was hesitant but shook her hand.

"So where exactly am I?" Max asked still skeptical of his helpers.

"I am glad you asked Max, I can explain everything to you once you've eaten and are rested up. My guards here will assist you. This guard is soldier Rustle and soldier Josh. They will help you until you are ready to speak with me and have adjusted." Piper said as she left the wooden building and pointed to her men.

Rustle was a tall strong man, with short chocolate brown hair. His pale skin absorbed the sunlight coming in through the window. His beard was neatly cleaned and wrapped around his face. His sword hung across his back, clearly to show off his upper body.
Josh on the other hand had a sleeker build and was a little shorter than Rustle. Josh's skin wasn't pasty like Rustle's. Josh has smooth olive skin that glowed in the sun and Josh also had short brown hair but his waved like the ocean. Josh held an axe made up off some unfamiliar silver metal to Max. Both guards were dressed in dark black armor almost like a full body suit.

"There are clothes at the foot of the bed and food and water is on the table next to you." Josh said smiling.

"Thank you so much, but would you mind waiting outside until I'm ready." Max said nervously to the guards.

"We will be right outside the doorway, let us now when your ready to speak to Piper." Rustle said nodding.

The two guards left for the door and Max finally relaxed. He explored the small room he was in. It was not a very big room only containing one bed, a night table and a wooden crate.
Max looked around to only find an empty crate and what was left for him.

Max hadn't realized he was naked until he had gotten out of the bed unprotected by the blanket.
Soon out of shock and embarrassment, Max got dressed and ate the soup that was now cold and the bread he was given. After about 20 minutes he went out to the guards.

"I am ready to go speak to Miss Piper." Max said.
"All right this way." Josh said leading Max to a large stone building.

The two guards lead Max to the stone building and signaled him that he was able to enter. Max entered the building to find it resembled an eating area with many tables and a bar.
Max followed a stairwell to another floor to find Piper sitting behind a table reading over papers.

"Um... Hello, Piper." Max said cautiously.

Piper looked up and smiled.
"Why hello there Max are you ready to talk. Have a seat right here and I will explain everything." Piper said pointing to a nearby chair.
