Kimberley POV

As I hobble towards my home district's scenery, I begin thinking of that attack. Those little twerps! How dare they send a knife to my knee! Luckily, the wound isn't very severe. It's treatable. However, I'm in a desperate need of medicine and water. But I know that my home district, District 4's scenery, is sure to have bounds of water. After all, we are the fishing district. What's fish without water?

Our District's scenery is huge all right. With luscious trees that are tinted a hint of aqua green and blue. I soak my knee into a stream that I found in the District. The water is drinkable. With one look, I can easily tell. The pain is excruciating but the wound is getting better. However, I have left the water undrinkable with the blood. At least I know that others won't get the stream.

I see that there is another stream at the other side. Maybe I can survive here with that stream. Maybe. However, I know I must hunt down Carmen. She's the strongest out of the twerp alliance and without her, Crystal is a goner. But I must beware of Crystal's knife though. She's actually skilled at them.

To get precious Lux, I would do anything. I would kill anyone and everything to get to him. He's being tricked by the two pesky twins. I know it. After they are dead, he'll see sense. He's not in love land with Crystal. He's supposed to be with me.

I dig through my backpack and realize I have bandages. I bandage up my knee after a long soak. I see that I also have night-vision goggles, dried fruit, crackers and beef. It's very well-stocked for a few days.

I need to destroy the bow and arrows. So far, I think that's the only one in the arena. Without the archer set, Carmen is less lethal. Just as I'm plan on my killing of the twerps, I see Carmen running to the other stream. She has a scorched hand and her fingers are probably too delicate to send any arrows for at least two days. That's good enough. I don't need to destroy them then.

I decide to spy on Carmen. Her hand is really burnt bad. Like the skin is so delicate that even a touch could cause severe damage to her fingers. I wonder what has happened.

Just then, the faces of the dead appear. I see the faces of the dead and see that those that I want dead are dead besides the twerp alliance. Like the weaklings that I presumed would die in the first day. But more Capitol boys survived. I just realized that. Probably because they are better fed.

"I can't believe I took out three of them. One was a Capitol boy."  I hear Carmen say. She looks really guilty.

""It's okay. It's the Hunger Games. The faster you kill, the faster you get to go home." I hear Lux comfort. Lux! I almost want to kill off the twerps and get to him. But I know I can't. I'll be overpowered. I stay on the tree that I was standing on to spy on them.

"Anyways, it was to protect us. Although the Capitol boy wasn't." Crystal says.

What? So Carmen killed a Capitol boy for no good reason. I had never knew that. Perhaps I could use it against Carmen.

I hop out of the tree and go back to the undrinkable water. I get my spears and my tridents. So far, I have two spears and three tridents. I have killed three people from the bloodbath and I'm ready to get my revenge. Especially on Carmen. She snubbed me on our first meeting.

I find a spot near the river and camouflage up my weapons. Then, I climb up a tree and tie my backpack and me to the tree. I didn't camouflage all my weapons though. I have a spear in my hand, just in case of an attack.

As I close my eyes to rest, I hear a bubbling in the water. I ignore until the water snaps and something jumps on my foot. And bites it, hard.
