Alex Mercer x Reader One-Shots

1. He's my Best Friend

(AN: if it's very short it's because it's about 11:56pm  in the UK so please enjoy it)

Alex and [Name] are in the safe house thinking about how their lives should have been and then a unique memory came to mind

"Alex do you remember the day we've met?" [Name] asks her best friend while looking at the photos on Dana's desk, Alex smiles

"Of course I remember. It was at Gentek when we both started working there and we never knew eachother existed until you helped me out of there when I've lost my memories and you guided me all the way" Alex said with a smile towards his friend they fell silent for a few minutes until Alex turns his head to see [Name] crying so he sat up, went over to her and hugs her

"Bad memory of your past still haunting you?" Alex asks gently while hugging her with a caring embrace

"I just can't stop it, going into my head when I least expect it and it's pissing me off" [Name] turns to Alex and cries into his chest, Alex could feel the tears dribbling down this chest then soaking his abs through his shirt so, he pulls her closer and says

"That has long gone, I'm here to protect you from that monster of a called "Step Father" [Name] you're safe with me and Dana and never forget that no matter the situation between us" he said in a kind but firm tone which cheered [Name] up that she smiled and looked up at her friends face, he wiped an escaped tear from her face and she said "Thank you for being with me all these years Alex and I'm glad that you're my friend when we was in Gentek" then she hugs him again and Alex returns the hug then they both fell asleep on the couch.
