"Well, that was..." Dan was at a loss for words as he reached across the table to shut the camera off.
"...Something." Phil concluded.
"Yes, yes it was." Dan chuckled, staring at the older boy sitting in front of him. He realized, he had never actually taken the time to examine Phil's unique facial features, he had always adored him for his personality. He had the sharpest cheekbones, and the most delicate, but firm jawline imaginable. His eyes today, were more stormy blue with specks of gray, but still as beautiful as all the shades of deep ocean blue, and light yellow-green that they usually were. Dan felt another stab of recognition as he once again remembered how much he loved this man sitting before him. But he knew the truth. He knew he could never admit to any of it. Not after what happened in 2012. They were so close, so happy for those three years, and he had gone and screwed everything up by admitting his god damn feelings. It had taken so long to recover their friendship again, Dan couldn't bare the thought of losing him again. Plus, Phil never seemed interested in Dan as anything more than a friend.
"You know," Phil smirked, snapping Dan out of his daze, "That 'WooHoo'... It was kind of exciting, don't you think?" Phil scooted his chair closer to Dan's and looked him deep into the eyes as if studying the warm brown of his irises.
"I-I-I guess." Dan stuttered. Phil seemed different all of a sudden. All of his charming innocence was gone, replaced with a twinkle behind his eyes and an enticing glare.
Phil scooted even closer, practically sitting on Dan. Close enough to hear his breath quicken after a gasp of surprise. "Did it... do something for you?" Phil asked seductively.
" W-W-W-What?" Dan stammered quickly, looking down at his bare feet as he felt his cheeks flush tomato red.
"You know..." Phil got up out of the chair and walked behind Dan, who sat frozen stiff in his seat. He rested both of his arms on Dan's shoulders and then wrapped them around his neck. If it was anyone else, Dan would have already been up and swatting the hands away from his neck, but he remained perfectly still. Phil leaned in and whispered quietly, "Did it turn you on?"
Dan jumped up, shrugging Phil's arms off of him. "What are you doing Phil?"
"Oh, come on. I know you like me." Phil turned a flustered Dan around to face him, and traced a finger down his chest. "I'm not afraid to give you what you want,"
"Come on Phil, you can't be serious, we can't do this, stop joking around."
"Oh, I'm not joking around." He circled Dan. "I have needs too. We would both be doing each other favors. Let's go downstairs, have a little test drive." Phil grabbed Dan's sweaty palm into his hand and began to drag him towards the doorway.
"Stop, Phil. Honestly, what are you doing?"
"I know you like me. Tell me I'm wrong and I'll believe you." Dan stayed silent. "Okay then, you like me, I like you, let's go downstairs and try out the 'WooHoo' for ourselves."
"Phil what are you doing. Come on, this isn't funny"
"Who was joking?" He teased. "Come on Danny, it doesn't have to mean anything." Dan winced slightly. That wasn't fair. He loved him, it couldn't mean nothing. Phil didn't feel the same, what was the point? Debating his options silently, Phil batted his long black eyelashes flirtatiously, and then lowered his eyes to the bulge in Dan's crotch. After another moment of silence, Phil cleared his throat and said, "I'll be downstairs, and I won't wait forever." Phil turned slowly and began to walk out, making sure Dan was watching him go, when all of a sudden, Dan grabbed his arm and pulled Phil to face him, grabbing his face gently with his other hand and pushed Phil's lips up against his own.
Dan's eyes shut, but Phil's widened in surprise, but he didn't pull back. He instead craned his neck upward to be able to stare at Dan's face. He had the cutest little dimple on the side of his cheek with two tiny little birth marks next to it, making it look like a little sad face. Oh how he wanted to kiss the dents in his cheeks when he woke up every morning, and padded into the kitchen all sleepy eyed, with his hair all ruffled and curly. Or when he didn't get enough sleep and Phil could hear Dan pacing at 4 in the morning and all he wanted was to walk over there and hold him, and tell him everything was going to be okay. Phil loved Dan, but it didn't matter. Ever since 2012, it had taken them years to rebuild their friendship, and up until this kiss, Phil was certain Dan could never love him again. He just couldn't take it anymore, and something changed today, Phil just couldn't keep it in anymore. And when Dan hesitated, he knew he had to assure him that it wouldn't mean anything. This whole damn careless act was so ridiculous, but if it was the only way. He wanted it so bad to mean something, But for now he just let himself melt in Dan's arms.
