Chapter 15: Gobstoppers

*Jade's P.O.V.*

We had arrived at the hospital and the driver let Andy, CC, and I off while he went to park the bus. We slowly walked into the hospital and Andy got a nurse to help me. A doctor came with a wheel chair and they put me in it. They wrapped my arm in a temporary splint and wheeled me away. Andy wanted to go with me but they wouldn't allow him. They took me to a room and put a vest over me that was super heavy.

"Okay, sweetheart, what is your name?" A doctor asked.

"Jade." I replied.

"Okay Jade, my name is Dr. Allen. We are just going to X-Ray your arm to see the extent of the break, okay?" He told me.

"Okay." I said.

I was still in a lot of pain and I was kind of nervous being by myself. They put a machine over my arm and left the room. I heard a click and they came back and repositioned the machine. They did this a few more times and then brought me to a room and hooked me up to a heart machine. They put a clip over my left index finger and then left the room. I was in there for a while, still in pain. Andy and CC entered my room after a while.

"Hi sweetheart. How are you feeling?" Andy asked, concerned.

"I'm good, my arm still hurts a lot." I said.

"Yeah, did they tell you anything yet?" Andy asked.

"No." I said.

I was still in a lot of pain and I was just sitting, kind of in a daze, on the bed.

"Do you want me to get a doctor?" Andy asked.

"No, I'm fine." I said.

"Okay." Andy replied.

He calmed down a little bit and sat down in a chair to my right. CC sat down in a chair to my left. After a while, a doctor came in with some X-Rays. He put them on the light board and turned it on so we could see them.

"So, Miss. Biersack, you have a broken wrist and two broken fingers." The doctor said.

"Okay." I said.

Andy and CC had stood up to look at the X-Rays on the light board and the doctor had showed them the broken parts. They all returned to my bed.

"So, we can wrap your arm up in a cast right now. I'll be right back with the supplies." The doctor said.

"Okay." I replied, still in a daze.

"Would you like some pain medicine for your arm?" The doctor asked.

I nodded.

"Okay, sweetheart. I'll be right back." The doctor said.

He left the room and came back with supplies. He gently held my arm as I got up and made me sit in a chair near a counter so he could put a cast on my arm. He set the bones in my arm back in position and then wrapped my arm and my middle and ring fingers in a cast. It went right up to my elbow and it was blue. Afterwards, the doctor wrote me a prescription for some pain medicine and then we could leave the hospital. I was exhausted when we got back to the bus and everyone could tell.

"Hey, Jade. Feeling better?" Jinxx asked.

"Ugh." I moaned, like a zombie.

"She's tired." Andy said.

He had his hand placed on my back and pushed me along. We sat on the couch and he put me on his lap. I almost fell asleep when we got to the pharmacy.

"Do you want to come in with me to get your medicine?" Andy asked.

I looked at him with a tired look.

"We can get candy." He whispered in my ear.

"Oo, yay." I said, perking up a bit.

He laughed and we got up. We walked out of the bus and walked into the store. We went to the back to get my medicine and then walked to the candy isle.

"I love candy." I said.

"Haha, I do too." Andy said.

CC then walked into the store as well. He immediately saw us and walked over to us.

"Okay, if this place doesn't have Gobstoppers, I'm leaving." CC said.

He then found his favorite candy and grabbed all of the boxes off of the shelf. He casually walked over to the counter and placed all of the boxes on it.

"Oh my god, CC." Andy said.

He facepalmed and I giggled.

I grabbed the last box of Gobstoppers that was on the shelf and I grabbed some boxes of sweettarts, some gummy bears, and gummy worms. I walked up to the counter as well and waited for CC to finish his purchase.

"That will be $50.45, sir." The cashier said.

CC paid for his candy and then waited for us to cash out. I put my stuff on the counter and Andy had grabbed some snacks for himself and he put the medicine on the counter. He paid for the items and then we went back to the bus.

It started up and we left for the next place. I was exhausted and Andy and I sat in the back lounge. I sat on his lap and he made me take my medicine. He began watching batman on the tv and I ended up falling asleep in his lap.
