Chapter 1

I was trapped in the net again, trying to get out while my pod swam away but not being able to call for help since I was underwater. They kept going, didn't even know I was missing. I hope they find out soon, I don't want to be found. Please let them come back and find me before some human does and exposes are secrets. I don't want to be locked up in some lab and experimented on, I want to be free to explore and love and live my life. Please.

Hey, I see a pod coming my way, maybe they will help me. I need to wave to get there attention. Please see me, please see me. Yay, one pointed me out, they are coming my way. I'm going to be free. Thank you, thank you. I won't be found and experimented on after all...

I woke up in my seaweed hammock in another cave again. Confused as to why I continue to have this dream even though I'm safe and its been 8 years since. I barely even remember the pod, they are only a blur in my dreams, I can't remember any faces or anything. It's so annoying, I don't even want to remember them, my new pod loves me and is perfect and so nice and they wouldn't leave me behind. With this pod, I fit in, I have friends and a sorta family...

*A little later, swimming out of class with Luna*

"So, Luna, I had that dream again."

"Kai, that's like the 5th time in two weeks," said Luna.

"I know, I think I might need to go talk to somebody about this."

"I don't know Kai, it isn't really normal to have dreams that repeat like this. They might think you are crazy," she said looking a bit worried.

"They might, but they also might know why I keep having this dream, don't you think," I said biting my lip.

"True, you sure you want to," she asked, "I could go with you if you would like."

"No Luna, I think this is something I should talk to them about alone, but yes I'm sure that I want to. If there is even a sliver of a chance that they know, I have to ask."

"Okay Kai, see you at dinner then?"

"Ya, see you at diner Luna. Wish me luck."

"Good luck."

*After her talk with Iaria and Talora back at her room with Luna*

"Did they know anything or have anything to tell you about it K?" Luna asked.

"No, all they knew was that it was a normal thing and that even some humans do it too."

"Wow, do they think it will go away after awhile?"

"They said it should but that I shouldn't be worried if it doesn't"

"Oh, that's good, I think."

"It is, so, do you want to study a bit before dinner or should we wait until after dinner?" I ask.

"How about we study before and after dinner so we don't have to study as hard and can take our time and not kill our brains again?"

"That's a beautiful idea." I say giggling a little bit, "Lets study."

"Okay, I will grab my books and be right back."

"I will clean off a spot on my bed."

*After studying and dinner*

We were talking in my room when Iaria came in and told us it was time to go to bed. Luna and I groaned and then looked at each other and winked before saying goodnight. She swam to her room and I sank into my hammock and started to drift off and fall asleep...
