There once was a boy named Shane. He was just an ordinary boy but whenever he wanted to hang out with his friends he would always bring them bad luck.
It all started when he went to Zoe's house for her birthday party at Super Play. He thought it would be awesome to bring Zoe an empty cereal box for her birthday and then he was cursed. When it was time to go they split up into two groups one group with Shane, Leah, Zoe's sister, and Zoe's Dad. The other included Zoe, Hadley, Ryme, Kai, Lily, and Zoe's Moms, but who cares about them all we care about is what happened to Shane's group. So Shane's group had to leave early to pick up Michael(the angel) but they were running late since Shane and Leah were taking forever to get ready. But they finally got ready and rushed into the car. While they were on their way to Michael's they faced their first challenge .... Red lights. No matter which way they went we were faced with red lights one after another for what seemed to be a series of unfortunate events. Finally after what seemed to be years they made it into Michael's neighborhood. They went a fork in the road and blindly passed the other path and went searching for his building. After decades of searching they backtracked into the fork in the road and noticed the other way that they had passed by earlier. They found him waiting outside and they picked him up and left. Time warp to super play brought to you by lovely ramen noodles. SHANE POV When we finally got to super play after almost crashing ... On multiple occasions, (Zoe's dad was driving...) the second group was sitting down drinking Mountain Dew waiting for our arrival. I rushed to take the rest seeing that it was almost empty "What took you guys so long." Zoe asked. " What do you expect, we had Shane, he's the root of all bad luck." Groaned Leah. " True" everyone said in unison while I sat in the corner sipping my Mountain Dew. " OI!!! WHAT IS HE DOING NOW!!!!" Shrieked Leah. "N-n-nothing" I stuttered. "HE'S GOT THE ENTIRE JUG OF MOUNTAIN DEW !!! Kai shouted as she lunged for me. I shrieked and ran. "GET HIM!!!!!" Yelled Lily. The Mountain Dew slipped out of my hand as I ran but I kept running since if I had stopped I would have been trampled. "Now look at what he's done." Stated Hadley " he's gone and dropped the whole thing". "You freaking Baka!" Zoe scolded. I was standing there realizing what I had done. Oopsies.
ZOE POV
So now we are Mountain Dewless thanks to that freaking dummy Shane. " Now what are we going to do we are going to dehydrate!!!" Ryme shouted. "I've got the water jug." Shane said. "Pour me some" Michael said. Shane thought it would be cool looking to pour one handed and gave Michael a cool surprise on his hand. Of course just like Shane to screw up the simplest things. I decided to get some water and threatened Shane that if he were to drop so much of a single drop on my hand he would get splashed in the face. He knew I was serious and held it with two hands this time. But still spilt some, he was lucky it just missed me. My mom told us it was time to go and play some laser tag so we headed out to play.
HADLEY POV
We decided to go in teams of two and everyone already had a teammate except me and... Oh no, Shane, please tell me there is someone else. Kai? Ryme? Not even Michael! Oh well here goes. "Hey Shane wanna team up? " I murmured . Wait really?!?! Shane said in awe " you want to be on a team with me?!?! Awesome, sure.". We went out into the arena and I was immediately shot by Michael. After about 5 minuets my gun just stopped working and I see that so did basically everyone's. We stood against a wall trying to figure out why but Shane kept swooping in and shooting us until Leah was tired of it and tackled him to the floor. " it's all his fault, who even invited Shane, all he does is screw things up." I said " No one, he invited himself, some one was talking too loud, Rhyme, and he overheard and joined in. " Zoe stated " Hey it's not my fault Leah was the one who brought it up! Blame her too!" Ryme protested. " Are you reall trying to blame this monstrosity on me?!?! " Leah barked. "Hey I'm not a -" Shane said "Shut up Shane no one cares, and yes Leah cause it it your fault." Ryme stated. Michael came in and broke up the fight.
LEAH POV
"Oh my Jashin I'm going to hurl" I belched. I hadn't noticed how much I ran during the game and tackling Shane threw me over the edge. Of course it's always Shane's fault. I ran out to go lie down on a padded bench. Everyone followed to see if I was alive. When they saw I was alive it was a mixture of grateful and upset faces, obviously Ryme's face was as ugly as a horse when she saw me still breathing. After about 10 minutes of lying down we went back to our room and thankfully someone had refilled the Mountain Dew. "Shane don't you dare touch the Mountain Dew." Lily stated. "But I want some too" Shane whined. "Well to freakin bad for you then." Zoe said. Everyone knew I needed it the most so I got first pour and boy was it good, I chugged the cup as fast as I could so I wouldn't die. What's that at the door?
LILY POV
"THE PIZZA IS HERE!!!" I shrieked. We all clawed at each other while trying to get pizza (might I also mention the parents behind us laughing at our efforts). Shane like the idiot he is took an entire pie and I ran after him. "GET HIM!!!!" Shouted Zoe. We all chased after him except... Kai who was sitting down enjoying the pizza she had grabbed before Shane took the pizza. We all jumped and landed on Shane at the same time retrieving the pizza. It was good pizza. Before we went to go play mini golf our hostess walked in with a BOWLING PIN CUP FILLED WITH CANDY!!!! She gave it to Kyla, of course, and immediately Shane stole it. "Ayyeeeeee!!!"screeched Zoe. We all thought he would run away but instead he started taking out the candy. "Gimme some" Ryme said. "No way it's mine" Protested Zoe. While she said that Shane hid a strawberry nerd pack into his pocket and put on a guilty face. Zoe looked at him and immediately knew something was up. "What did you take?" Zoe stated. "W-what do you mean? I didn't do anything?" Shane stuttered. "He took a strawberry nerd" I stated. "WHAT!!!!! GIVE IT BACK!!!!" Zoe screamed while tackling Shane. While they were on the floor others helped themselves to some candy. "YOU HAVE ANOTHER ONE!!!!" Cried Shane. "Oh really? Oh well why didn't you say so" Zoe said as she patted herself down.
KAI POV
Shane was quite happy now that he was allowed to keep the nerds but the moment he tried to eat any he spilt them all on the floor. What an idiot. Well it was time to go play golf now. We walked over but on the way Shane decided to trip and almost knock us all over. We walked around him and tried to ignore him. We all got golf clubs and balls both me and Shane had the same color ball, this was set up for disaster. About halfway through the first hole Shane insisted that my ball was his. I ignored him and kept on going until... "Roll roll roll the Shane gently across the field merrily merrily merrily merrily golf is but a dream" Shane sang as he rolled on the field moving all of the balls. We all shouted at him and Leah thought it was funny to hit him with the club. We always left Shane behind because he is the worst golf player in existence. Michael decided to hit his ball into the lake but he didn't want to get it even though it was empty. He went to get another while I went to go get the ball. We came back at the same time so I returned the first ball. After golf we went to play laser tag again.
