As February started nearing everyone began getting in relationships, it was all just full of love. The grade was buzzing with excitement as they hear that there is going to be a Valentine's day dance. I, of course really wanted to go.
My boyfriend hadn't asked me yet, although one of my friends did. She's asked me as a joke, and it was all extravagant, and hilarious.
Since I can't really see him outside of school, I get a text from him, he responded to me.
He mentally assumed we'd be going together, but after my friend asked me, he wanted to make sure I'm his for the night. He asked me to the dance over text, which I found cute. Since he couldn't ask me in person, at the moment.

The day of the dance came sooner than I expected. That day him and I had to go to rehearsal after school for the spring musical. He just so happened to be picked to be my dance partner. We didn't get to pick our partners, our choreographer did.
It was so much fun when he spun me I to his arms and dipped me down. We held that for longer than we're supposed to, and I got lost in his eyes, he leaned down and brushed his lips on mine. Sparks, and fireworks, were everywhere. Everywhere he has contact on me, felt like it was on fire. It was a never ending sensation. This day is gonna get better and better, because right after we had the Valentine's day dance.
When rehearsal finished, I packed up my script, and went to the bathroom to change for the dance. When I first wished changing he was waiting outside of the bathroom for me. I smile at him, and grab his hand. When we got to the dance there were already people in line for tickets.
Once we got our tickets and went inside we met up with a few of our friends, we danced the night away. His arms were wrapped around my waist the entire time, anytime I tried to walk away he'd pull me closer, as if he was afraid of losing me in the crowd.
The last song of the night came soon than expected, it was All of Me, the only slow song of the night. In seconds I was pulled closer to him than I thought possible. I looked around me at the couple's who were wrapped in each other's arms slow dancing.
I've never slow danced before. He placed my hands on his shoulders, and his went on my waist. There was space between us and we closed it when he pulled me closer. My arms wrapped around the back of his neck, and I rested my head on his chest. I could hear his heart beating, and he's quietly singing the song to me. I felt so safe in his arms, and I never wanted it to end.
