I woke up from a nice long sleep to see I was still in the fort we had built last night. The only difference is that it was just me in there. Curious, I poked my head out of the fort and saw that Lin, Vanessa, and Sebastian were all out by the counter eating breakfast. I was actually pretty hungry so I pulled myself out of the fort and walked up to the counter.

          "Morning everyone," I said groggily.

"Good morning sleepyhead. How'd you sleep?" Lin asked with amusement.

"I slept amazing honestly, some of the best sleep I've had in forever," I said with a smile as I went to go get food.

We weren't eating anything in particular so I just got a bowl and spoon and made a bowl of cereal. Some people love having extravagant breakfasts but honestly as long as I get food in me I'm happy. After we had all finished our breakfasts we gathered in the living room to take down the fort. Honestly I was kinda sad to take it down because it was one of my best forts.

"So what are the plans for today?" I asked after the fort was disassembled and everything was put away.

"Well I was thinking since none of us have school or work today we could work on painting your room together," Lin replied.

"Oh yeah that would be awesome," I exclaimed excitedly.

Once we knew what we were gonna do we started getting to work. We pulled out all of the furniture that was too big to put in the middle of the room, which was just the bed frame and mattress. After we got all of the furniture out and in the right spot we put the plastic on the floor so that we won't stain the floor. Next we taped up the window seal and the top edges of the ceiling and then the bottom moldings on the wall.

We got to work painting on the primer but of course there were only 2 of us because we couldn't have Sebastian in the room. The primer was finished a bit before lunch but we still had to wait for it to dry before we could put the actual pain color on. We figured it was a good time to stop and have a quick lunch break before we got back to it. Our lunch just consisted of sandwiches, but I was ok I didn't need a very big lunch.

"So," Lin said as we were eating our sandwiches,"you have school tomorrow. What school do you go to? Is it close?"

"Yea it's really pretty close I go to the high school that's like a 20 minute drive east of here," I replied.

"Oh yea, ok that isn't that bad we can leave here at like 7:15," Lin stated.

"Yup that'll work perfectly. School starts at 7:45 so that gives me plenty of time," I said as I finished up the last bit of my sandwich.

Speaking of school I have so much homework to do tonight I slightly want to cry. I set my plate in the sink and headed back to my room to see if the primer was dried. Perfect timing I thought as I checked and felt that it was dry. Lin walked into the room just then and I told him it was dry so we mixed up the lilac paint and then started painting.

"Oh and I forgot to ask while we were eating but after school on Tuesday would you like to come to the theater with me?" Lin asked me.

"Of course!," I exclaimed," That would be awesome!"

He smiled and then we continued to paint. The painting didn't take too long to do, it was mostly the having to wait for each layer to dry. We ended up painting 2 layers of the lilac paint to make it look better. After all of the painting was done and it was dry we started putting my room together.

The first thing we did was bring in the bed frame and all that and put it back together.
Next we took that desk/bookshelf and built it. Now this one took a little while because Lin and I are both not very good at building things so we had a lot of hiccups along the way. That stupid little thing should have only take like 45 minutes but in the end it took us about an hour and a half. By the time we were done with it dinner was ready.

"Glad to see you finally figured that desk out so we could eat dinner," Vanessa said while chuckling.

"Hey, you have no idea how hard that thing was to put together," Lin and I said at the same time.

"Yes. I'm sure it was like the labyrinth," Vanessa said smirking.

Lin and I both just huffed and started eating our spaghetti. This spaghetti was honestly probably the best I had ever had so that did bring my mood back up after the stupid desk thing. After dinner we helped clean up then got back at putting my room together. But there really wasn't much left to do. All we had to do was get the new sheets out of the dryer and put them on the bed and pillows, then I unpacked all of my clothes and stuff into the rights spots.

"Wow girl you don't have much stuff," Lin said as he saw me put my limited amount of clothes in the closet.

"Yea I haven't really gone shopping for clothes in 3 years," I explained.

"Wait till we tell the girls that, they'll have a field day," he said while chuckling," anyway I should let you finish unpacking and then get some sleep."

"Ok have a good night Lin I'll see you tomorrow morning. Don't forget we are leaving here at 7:15," I said as he came and gave me a big hug.

I heard him make a noise while he left, which I'm taking as him saying ok. After Lin left I had finished packing and then sat at my desk doing my homework. After an hour I finally finished all of the homework. I put it all in my backpack so I didn't forget to bring it. Ugh, I hate Mondays so much I thought as I hopped into bed and closed my eyes, letting sleep take me over.
