Prologue:
As I stared into his light blue eyes, they held all his secrets. I searched his eyes for a moment; and I wondered, could this beautiful being ever have such emotions for me? Could this soulless angel ever feel? He spoke my name gently, caressing each word and it sounded so musical and lovely. I smiled coyly at him as our lips met.
Maybe one day, we'd be together. For all of eternity.
But then again, maybe everything could go wrong.

Chapter One:
'Elphie, please?' Tegan asked me, her smile slightly shallow but her eyes showing how bad she wanted me to go to the party. I shook my head, 'Tegan, I really don't want to!" I whined slightly, I mean why would I? All they were going to be doing was underage drinking and girls fluttering their eyelashes at their boyfriends and that'd be about it. Don't me wrong, I was somewhat of a party girl. Honest I was, but after the 'accident' I just couldn't bring myself to be happy anymore. Living a lie that I couldn't leave behind. It just wasn't what I wanted to do, or something I could keep doing much longer.
'Elphaba. Shut up and get dressed!" Tegan hissed after finally tired of hearing my refusals, refusal after refusal. 'No.' I stated simply, I hoenstly had no desire to go. Especially not after the accident...
'You need to get out of this! It's haunting you! Now here!" She hissed, throwing some clothes at me. I rolled my eyes but obediently listeined, maybe she was right. It was time for me to get out of the house, 'What about Ian? And Rose?" I asked, reffering to my two younger siblings. 'I think your Aunt Lisa is more then capable of watching over them.' Tess offered, slightly raising her eyebrow in an amused fashion. I walked into the bathroom to get changed, no point in fighting her. I got changed into the shorts she had given me, and a low cut, one shoulder, purple, sparkly shirt. I quickly did my make-up and ran a brush to my hair, causing my streak of red, my highlight, to really show against my hair. I shrugged, looking into the mirror, I looked fine I guess as I fastened one of my necklaces around my neck. Looking at my cocktail ring, I sighed, slightly content with my total image as I rushed to put my phone into my pocket and walked downstairs, into Tess's car.
As she started driving we made small talk for a few minutes.
'Anyways! I heard there will be a ton of guys there!" Tess said in a sing-song voice. I smirked, that was typical Tess. 'I mean, it's been a week since my last boy toy...don't you think I need a new one?" She asked even though it was more of a statement. 'If it makes you happy Tess, if it makes you happy.' I laughed at my friend as she continued driving. I could already see her visioning her moves.
We walked into the party, my eyes searching around. I could smell the beer lying around, hear the girls giggling and the boys laughing. I sighed, why was I doing this again? I didn't want to be here, watching others feel happy for themselves while I had to suffer inside. There was music blasting around so I decided to jump into dancing with the other sober people around us. Soon enough though a slow song came on, I felt a tap on my shoulder, turning around to the meet very beautiful eyes. Belonging to a gorgeous looking man. Medium length hair, jet black and messy. 'Would you mind sharing this dance?" He asked, his voice was perfect. Seductive yet velvty, I nodded as he took my waist in one hand and my hand in the other. We spun in circles for a few moments, 'What's your name?" He asked suddenly as our dancing slowed down yet again.
'Elphaba.' I muttered, hearing a slight chuckle. 'Elphaba as in the Wicked Witch of the West?" He asked and I nodded, he gave me a slight smirk. 'It's nice.' He offered as I rolled my eyes. 'What about you? Your name?" I asked, 'Drake.' He responded shortly, as the song ended he stepped away from. His eyes searching me one more time before walking away, I blinked shocked and was about to walk after him when Tess stopped me. I watched him walk away in his leather jacket.
'Now who was that?' She asked approvinly, 'His name, is Drake.' I mummbled under my breathe. 'Yummy.' She replied with a wink, 'Oh stop it.' I pleaded with her, not wanting to hear her say that. I wasn't sure why though, I mean he's just a guy right? And I'm not looking into dating right now.... Am I? 'Rowr! Well okay, I'll stay away....for now.' Tess winked before wandering off again. I shook my head, walking over to get a drink of pepsi. Did they even have pepsi here? Or was it just beer? I didn't drink like the other kids, but I guess they had their reasons why they did, and I had my reasons of why I didn't. That's just how life is. Isn't it?
