(((Above is Luna)))

I rose from my memory foam mattress and onto the cold wooden floor. I immediately lifted my feet and slipped on my pink slippers I had sitting near my bed. I closed my eyes and smiled as my feet felt instantly warmer. I got up and walked into my bathroom and turned the shower on. After checking to make sure it was the perfect temperature, I stripped down and slipped under the steamy water. After my shower, I grabbed a pair of skin tight jeans and a blue razor back I had sitting on my dresser from when I planned my outfit out last night. I quickly slipped into my clothes and put on a pair of white sandals. I then wandered into the bathroom to blow dry my hair and apply my makeup. After I was satisfied with myself, I walked into the hallway and greeted my corgi puppy, Radar, who was anxiously waiting for his breakfast. I quickly fed him an adequate amount of dog food and went into the small kitchen to make myself some breakfast.
I lived in my own apartment in Chico, California with my dog. I got my car for my seventeenth birthday, since my family was kind of wealthy. My dad owned his own construction business and my mom was a brain surgeon, so I guess we had a lot of money. This is also why I live in my own apartment. My other older siblings moved out when they were eighteen, and now I'm nineteen and I haven't moved out until the beginning of the school year, and so my parents gave me a loan and sent me to live on my own. Now I'm working as a pet groomer. And that's how I make my money to live basically.
I ate my waffles quickly and grabbed my backpack and a water bottle and headed down the stairs to the lobby. I walked down the street a couple blocks to my favorite cafe, Coco Loco.
"Mornin' Luna," the cashier greeted me as I opened the door and inhaled the strong scent of coffee beans and chocolate. "The usual, I presume?" he asked.
I walked closed to the counter and smiled. "Yes, that'll do." I took out my wallet and pulled out a five dollar bill and handed him it. "Keep the change, James." I giggled at the unintended rhyme.
James smiled and took my money from my hand and put it into the register. "Thank you, darlin'."
I nodded and walked over to the other side of the counter and waited for my drink. As I waited, I checked the time on my phone and I still had fifteen minutes to get to school, plenty of time.
"Medium caramel apple spice latte, no whip for my miss Luna," the lady yelled as she put a straw into my drink.
I took the drink and sipped it, smiling in satisfactory. "Thank you, Kate."
She smiled back and nodded me away. I walked outside and walked back to the apartment building and got into my Audi car and fastened my seat belt.
I checked my phone before I drove off and found a text from my friend, Nikki. She seemed to have sent it to a group chat with many peoples' names I did not recognize. It read, "end of year party at Zack Zeigler's house this Saturday. Be there!!!" I ignored the text and put my phone back into my bag. I never went to parties and Nikki knew that, I wondered why she even bothered sending me the text.
I pulled over into the school's parking lot and I got out of, locking the doors. I was greeted by Nikki with a warm hug and kiss on the cheek. She was affectionate in that way, and I loved it.
"How are you?" She asked me and we ended the hug. She looked and sounded genuinely concerned, what I also loved about her.
"I'm doing good, how about you, Nik?"
She smiled at her nickname. "I'm okay, I'm thinking about breaking up with Zack though." She looked down and her face turned gray.
I frowned. "How come?" I questioned.
