Carmen POV
After the tiff with Kimberley, I can't stand to be in her home district. It sickens me that we are living off of her district's scenery. The stream on our side suppiles us with the water and the fishes are edible. So we have a supply of fresh meat and seafood.
But Kimberley has left 4. She was gone when I went to hunt. Probably left to go hunt for a better district without any problems like the piranhas. Anyway, she can't use our stream. Ours is piranha-free though.
When I saw Lux doze off, I left this alliance.I know I shouldn't. It's risky to be alone, but I had to finish the deal. I promised to kill Kimberley. And besides, it's Day Two. I should finish the job.
I sneak off, armed with my six knives and my archer set. Its the break of dawn. I should be able to find Kimberley. Suddenly, I hear a scream from "District Ten". No matter what, I should check it out.
I hike towards it to see a bag of supplies on the ground........
Kimberley POV
I awaken immediately. Those screams. They are from Ashley, my sister. It can't be. I bolt off, screaming her name as loud as possible. But it can't be. Even since my brother died in the Games, I had been trying to protect her. That's why I volunteered in her place.
I still remember that time when my brother died. He died in the bloodbath. I remember how I cried so hard and begged to the Heavens to get him back. He was only fifteen, with me being only ten. Ashley was barely five. He died in the hands of a District 5 girl. I thus killed off one of the District 5's this year.
But I remember Ashley cry so hard for me when she stood on the stage of her death. She was only twelve, with me being seventeen. I volunteered on the spot.
But now, the Capitol has her. She's being tortured, or worse dying as I hear those screams. No matter how far I run, I can't find her. No matter how hard I scream her name, she can't hear me.
Suddenly, the screams stop. But instead my brother's screams ring through the arena. He's there, somewhere. I just now it. Tears just start erupting from my face as I hear it. But as I fight them, I can't. It's horrible and I just know that Finnick, my mentor, told me that they weren't real. But they seem like they are. With the intensity of my brother's screams and later, both of my siblings are crying out to me. Finally, I mange to climb a tree and it blocks out most of the screams.
Just then, an arrow flies through the air and hits something. Those things falls to the ground, dead. I realize that they are jabberjays. So that means those screams were fake.
That arrow was sent by Carmen. I just know it. Only she has the bow and arrows in this arena.
I steadily crawl up on the branches. Maybe I can spear her. Before I manage to get my angle, I feel a knife go to my wound again. My wound isn't even healed fully. The searing pain makes my vision go blurry, again. Before I blank out, I hear Carmen whisper,
"Bye, Piranha."

Carmen POV
I see that Kimberley has passed out. Time to make her death worthwhile.
I drag her towards our camp. Crystal is awake. She runs up and hugs me.
"Where were you? I was worried sick!" Crystal exclaims
"Piranha." I snarl with Piranha over here. She sees sense and begins tying her up on a tree. She wakes Lux and they continue tying her up. After all, Iwant to finish her up soon. I really want to.
As Crystal decides to go hunt with Lux, I decide to awake Kimberley. But she's out, cold. I snack on some beef and crackers as I wait for Piranha to awaken.

Kimberley POV
When I awaken, I see that I'm tied to a tree. Carmen has a knife on her hands and Lux and Crystal are guarding her.
"Well, well, well. Little Miss Scorched Fingers has outsmarted me with her pea-sized brain. How terribly clever of you!" I snarl.
Carmen smiles cruelly at me.
"Oh, Piranha. Don't tell me you want to resort to this." Carmen replies with a cruel smile plastered on her face.
She grabs the knife and skins me. It hurts so bad. I cry a torrent of tears as I see my shredded skin. It's terrible to watch and feel.
After this, Carmen decides to spare me and kill me already. She sends spears through my feet and arms before giving me her last words,
"Good Luck, Piranha. Don't worry, you will only feel a little pinch."
After that, she grabs her bow and releases an arrow through my heart.
It hurts but later I see my life flash through my eyes. All my family, my brother laughing, the reaping, when I met Carmen and Carmen's final words.
Suddenly, I see my brother coming to pick me. He's in heaven. He's coming to get me. I run into my brother's arms and leave reality and this world, forever.
