Sams p.o.v

I was trudging through the woods. dehydrated feeling weak and almost dead. Thinking of the camp. The air conditioner the cold floors great food and water. It killed me to even think of nourishment. I left camp yesterday and I already regret it. The only thing I thought to bring with me was my coin. Well what would be a coin to the normal eye. the heat of the day already getting to my head made me sit. I had to do this for her. avenge her. My mouth was dry. I was dizzy. the moment the girl came busting through the undergrowth my vision had already went black at the edges. She ran to my side with amazing speed. All I could do was manage to catch her name.............Sydney?

I woke with her name already forming on my tongue. The image of her bursting through the shrubbery danced in my mind. Her agility, silence, the glimpse of her sweet smile that had alway mesmerized me. For once since her death I had became happy again. But....how? How had she magically came back to life? Thinking of this had sidetracked me from the fact that she had been standing right in front of me the whole entire time. The chills had already started to resonate throughout my body along with the sigh of relief. I jumped out of the bed ignoring the quickening pain engulfing her in a hug and sealing the space between us with a kiss. When she pulled away we stared at each other, then unexpectedly she blew me back in a gust of freezing cold air. Confused because of the fact that's he does not possess this ability kept me from defending myself from the following jet of heated water. Scalding my skin as if it were a boiling pot of water being thrown on me. I looked down to see my skin already bubbling upon my arms. Sadness and rage caused a weird feeling to well up inside of me...channeling a new kind of energy.....resonating through my body and traveling into my burning fingertips came the most horrible burst of darkness I have ever seen. This energy brought together a dark cloud of dust, heat, and death. I watched as the dark cloud hurdles towards Sid, to my surprise she dodged it. I could tell she was just as shocked as I was. I had just discovered the full expanse of my ancient power...and, it truly scared me, I shook violently as the dark cloud exploded against the wall leaving a charred hole where the wall used to form the barracade from us and the outside world. Sid still ended up taking some damage from the explosion, drawing the color from her face the ball of pure death had hindered her extremely. "I have to get to uncle Mike." I told myself. Sid layed on the cold tile gasping for breath. She reminded me of a fish out of water. I couldn't leave her so I put her over my shoulder and decided to carry her back. Little did I know is that I wasn't even going to make it out of the building as easily as I thought I would.
