I woke up early this morning and I remembered the amazing night I had with William at the museum. I put on my maid uniform and then went down to the kitchen. I pulling out the leftover bread from yesterday and toasting it.
Scrambling up some eggs and getting a glass of milk. I heard a knock on the back door. I went over, opening the door and it was the newspaper boy. I got the paper and a letter. The letter was for me, I grabbed it and put it in my front pocket of my apron.
I grabbed Mrs. Brown's breakfast and I climbed the stairs to her room. Knocking on the door and I open it slowly. I set the tray down on the end of her bed.
"Mrs. Brown, are you okay?" I go up to her and gently nudge her.
She felt cold. I gasp and quickly go down the stairs and out the front door calling for help. Help comes quickly and I take them up to her room. The doctor checks her out.
"She died in her sleep last night Miss," the doctor says looking at me.
I start crying and I fall onto the floor holding myself. I thought to myself, what am I supposed to do now, I have no one.
