Love Where It last

Chapter 1

Marilinda reached to France at about midnight after leaving her home country the the day before. She had promised to call Jackson -her boyfriend - she'd call as soon as she landed but because of the hassles she had encountered that call became impossible. She went straight to bed after settling in her company's hotel floor in room 25.
Marilinda was frightened by her alarm clock 'another day of work', she thought to herself but her sigh was incomplete when she remembered Jackson was waiting for her call. She quickly rolled over to the other side of the bed, picked the phone up and dialed home.
" hey baby, sorry I didn't call. I...", she started to explain but was interrupted.
" it's totally fine. I'm just happy you reached safely".
" thanks hun", she pushed back her hair, " I hope you'll be fine without me" .
" don't worry, I'll be totally fine. I learnt from the best", Marilinda giggled at his statement. They both said bye and Marilinda went for a shower and soon she was ready for work. It was a busy day for Linda and all she wanted was to get a boss and wouldn't mind going back to her love. the clients she was attending to were quite satisfied with her performance and so they gave her 4 more days to finish the work as a result she will return home on time. when she got home she went straight for her phone which she does every night and called Jackson.
"hey you!" ,Jackson answered in a happy tone.
" hey him, guess what?"
" you're done with your project"
" no", she laughed, " I'm coming home in 4 days time"
" that's great, can't wait", Marilinda was always pleased to hear Jackson's voice. It always keeps her smiling.
" So you'll see me on Saturday"
" Saturday I'll see you"
" I love you"
" I send mine as well with a kiss"
" see ya soon"
" bye cutie", and that being his final words Jackson hung up on the Linda went for a shower then to bed.
Her dreams were fulfilled when she heard she could go home two days earlier than planned. She decided to surprise Jackson with her early arrival. She had called him the night before she would go home just to tell him she missed everything about him. It was unfortunate he couldn't see past her get girls to notice something was up. Linda had found herself on Airport grounds an hour before her flight, excitement crept all over her body. it seemed like forever to her waiting for the hour to pass. When only two minutes remain the time seem to slow down and one minute seem to become an hour all of a sudden. however, time passed and she was on her way home. Linda sat staring at Jackson's photo thinking how she long to kiss his magnificent lips. She had decided not to fall asleep until she was in his arms but unfortunately sleep was inevitable to her body. The plane landed but Linda was still asleep until a guy woke her.
" Huuuum sleepyhead?, you've arrived" , Linda open Horizon only reached halfway through her Young when she realized she was sleeping and a random guy had to woke her .
" Thanks... I didn't realize" she replied embarrassed.
" No problem... I realized", and the guy left. Linda collected all her baggage, call a cab and went home. When she got there Jackson wasn't asleep and from where she was standing he seemed not alone. she snuck in to see what was happening but what she saw brought tears to her eyes. She would have never thought Jackson would do something like that, Jackson was in their bedroom watching their first vacation video where they had the most memorable moments.
" awe... Babe" , she said with puppy tears in her eyes.
" Lin, you're back" he ran to her and hugged her tightly. He continued, " so early.... On time" Linda was overjoyed and shared her emotions with you through a kiss. They walked over to the bed and finished watch the video and then Linda took a shower and they both went to bed.
" do you have work tomorrow? " he asked her in hopes she'd say no.
" no I don't, why?"
" I wanted to take you out at 7", Linda smiled and agreed and off to bed they both went arms in arms.
It was about 6:30 and Linda was getting ready her take to out. Jackson called and told her to dress extremely nice but still he said it was nothing special. she got to the restaurant on time and so did he. She thought it strange for that had never happened before. They settled at table seven and started to dine.
" How was France? ", he asked while taking a sip of his wine.
" It was great, I loved every minute of it even though I didn't enjoy my tour because I wanted to come home to you", she noticed he was a little uneasy. " what's wrong?", she asked while smiling.
" nothing... Just thinking"
" about what? ", her smile was from ear to ear.
" finish your wine, I'll be back", and Jackson left. Linda Fields happy and anxious. a few minutes later Jackson returned with a lady with a very attractive physique behind him.
" What's this? ", Linda asked with a small smile on her face.
" This isn't working out so it's over between us" , and Jackson left with the woman leaving Linda dumbfounded. She got up and left the money for dinner on the table and went home with her dumbfounded face.

The moment she walked into his view Nick's heart skipped about 5 beats trying to think how he had received a gem. He prepared home-cooked meals for her at his house. Cary sat down and dived into his dishes which were spectacular. As she ate he watch her in detail and thought to himself what he was waiting for, he had met his Cinderella. She noticed the sparkles in his eyes and that smile he has when life is where it should be. She simply smiled got up and sat in his lap and caressed his hair.
" I Love you too", she said in a soft tone.
" Always and Forever? "
" no", she smiled and continued, " further than forever". Nick caressed her cheeks and kissed her on her forehead then headed for a soft kiss on her lips and between his kiss he whispered, " I where I should be". Nick was about to push the moment further when Cary stopped him informing him she had to leave. He kissed her and followed her to the bus stop and she went home. Nick cleaned his kitchen and went to bed afterwards.
The following Monday Nick went to his office and his friend invited him to a club and he accepted.
" hey bro, how's your chick? ", his friend Jason asked.
" chick? She's my wife-to-be and she's great" Nick replied.
" So-ory, you really love her don't you?". Just breathe love and walked off to finish his duties.
At the club Jason introduced Nick to one of his ex girlfriend, but he accepted her only as a friend. Jason was a little pissed at Nick's loyalty to Cary. After that incident it was 'drink right' and 'sit quiet' for Nick. Many women approached him for he was extremely gorgeous but he refused them all.
Nick's birthday was approaching the following Saturday and he wanted to treat his girlfriend Cary. Nick got all his activities figured out from where they would go to where they would spend their last moments for today. this Saturday morning he called Carrie and ask her what she asked why he wanted to do that, but he replied saying he feels like it. Cary got dressed real nice and was on her way to his office. when she got to the elevator and it was about to close Jason stopped it and entered. He stood beside her and immediately started a conversation.
" Hi, Mrs Michaelson"
" Hi, Jason ", She replied a little harsh. Jason laughed at her tone of voice. " He's taking you out I see".
" yes as always. The best boyfriend a girl could ever have", she rolled her eyes.
"You know why he choose today? " he asked
" No special reason, just taking me out because he loves me something someone like you wouldn't do to a girl" she smirked at Jason. He laughed at Cary and as soon as the doors open he said to her, " You say you love him so much but you don't even remember his birthday". Carrie was shocked and felt bad and Jason walked out. Carrie walked in the office and realized he was getting ready to leave. She walked over to him as he turned to see her she hugged him and whispered Happy Birthday in his ear. They both left.
Nick took Cary to a fair which had her favorite activities. He took her on every ride she wanted and bought her anything she wanted. As they shared an ice cream she asked him a fair question.
" why are you treating me and it's your Birthday?"

" Because I've got all I need when I've got you and you here is the best Birthday gift I could ever received" , she smiled and he was about to kiss her when she sold his nose with ice cream. They both laughed then he went to the bathroom to clean up. He returned to where they were but Carrie wasn't there so he started searching. He was about to give up and took out his cell phone to call her when he saw messages from an unknown number. He opened the messages and lost, someone had sent him a happy birthday gift through SMS. Nick looking at the phone screen and then went back to where they were at first. When Cary got there Nick was in silence. She asked what was up and he showed her his birthday gift from an unknown number. Cary was in shock she stepped away from Nick.
"

Thank you for the best day ever", Cary was in tears and Nick continued, " You and Jason kissing and his hands all over your body... Wow..." Nick shocked his head, got up and walked away and he didn't even looked back. That night he didn't even eat. Nick felt betrayed and hurt so she threw most of his stuff on the floor and fell asleep in the couch drinking apple juice from a juice box.
