Chapter 5-Girlfriends part 1

Weeks have passed since I got ice cream with Robert, we talk a lot outside of the lessons but whenever I am around him I sometimes feel nervous, it feels so strange. I haven’t spoken to Brian for a while, he keeps texting me but I don’t always reply. I was with Kiera, Becky and Tom in a small cafe in town. Tom and Kiera have been hanging out a lot lately was I was thinking about Brian and strangely Robert when tom said “heyy Kiera can I speak with you for a moment in private please” “sure” Kiera said. I looked at tom and winked at him and he went red. Earlier in the week I spoke with tom and he said that he wanted to ask her to be his girlfriend. I know how much they like on another so I said I would get us all to go to the cafe in a couple of days and if he wanted to he could ask her out while we were there. I saw them go to the other side of the cafe and I saw tom looking nervous while he talked. Not long after they came back smiling and holding hand. I think he asked her out. I looked at tom and mouthed ‘did you ask her’ he nodded his head and began to smile even more than he already was so I think she said yes.

Kiera’s POV

I was sat in a cafe with Marianne, Tom and Becky. I saw Marianne and Becky were talking about something so I looked at Tom about to talk when I noticed he was looking at me. I blushed slightly and he said “heyy Kiera can I talk to you for a moment in private please” “sure” I said. As I got up tom led me over to the other side of the cafe so we weren’t near Marianne and Becky. “What do you want to talk to me about tom” I asked. “Do you like me?” he asked nervously “what do you mean do I like you” “I mean do you like me as a friend or something else?” “I like you as a friend and what do you mean when you say something else” “well I was wondering if you would like to go out with me”. I was shocked; did he just ask me to be his girlfriend? “What are you saying tom” “I’m saying Kiera Scott will you be my girlfriend” he asked shyly. OMG I freaking out in my head, tom just asked me to be his girlfriend. While I was thinking I realised I hadn’t answered him. He looked really nervous now. “OMG yes tom I would love to be your girlfriend”. He smiled widely and gave me a huge hug then we went back to the table smiling like a pair of idiots.
