The Switch (P1)

(We all know where this is going...)

"I will destroy every relationship out there!" screamed the akuma, taking her cellphone and swiping upwards on the screen toward a scared couple who were standing on the Pont des Arts.

They shimmered for a moment, switched places suddenly, and looked at each other, beginning to scream in fear.

"Alexis?!" The girl shouted, pointing towards the boy across from her on the bridge.

"Tom!" The boy shrieked, a terrified look on his face as he pointed towards the girl.

The akuma looked at them disapprovingly and swiped towards a young man who was protecting a blonde girl that clung to him. She smirked as the young man's eyes went wide as he shimmered and turned into short, brown haired girl, running away and leaving the blonde girl stranded.

"There we are! Look at that!" She pointed at the couple, laughing as the man ran away screaming. The girl seemed confused and scared, but other than that, nothing was wrong with her.

"This app turns a person into the one they truly love. Looks like he didn't love you, sweetheart." She laughed as the blonde girl shook her head, then ran away, tears building up in her eyes.

The akuma continued to laugh, swiping towards one couple, then another, watching as some of them switched bodies, and others turned into completely different people.

"I will root out every cheater so this never happens again!" The akuma shrieked with an angry smile.

Then a girl, fumbling with her short dress awkwardly and blushing, pointed towards the sky with relief. "It's Ladybug!" She said in a slightly deeper voice than normal and watched as the heroes swooped down from the sky and landed near her. She looked at them in awe.

"Chat Noir! Please! You have to destroy the akuma!" She said, blushing still. "I can't be stuck as a girl forever!" She looked at him hopefully.

"Of course, just wait here, madame." He cleared his throat as a sour expression crossed her face. "Er, monsieur." Chat gave Ladybug a meaningful look before motioning her to run with him for a surprise attack. She nodded and they both ran up towards the akuma from behind, both aiming to grab the phone since it was obvious that it was the akumatized object.

"Think I didn't see you?" The akuma said, whirling on them and swiping up.

The next thing Marinette knew she was on the ground and a small, black kwami next to her hissed, "Shout, 'Plagg, transform me!' Now! You still don't know who Chat is and now is not the best time to find out."

She did as she was told, not giving it a second thought, and was surprised when she looked down to see claws on her hands... her... hands.

Chat's hands...

Chat.

She screamed loudly and saw... Ladybug had fallen beside her.

"Crap." She said... with Chat's voice.

"M'lady?" Chat, who was transformed into Ladybug, asked quizzically. Marinette never ever wanted to hear herself say that again.

"What the heck just happened?" She asked, her eyes going wide as she heard Chat's voice escaping her own lips once again.
