A/N: Blame school, All Time Low, Pokemon, Luigi’s Mansion 2 and Sleeping With Sirens for the late chapter. Basically everyone but me.
Anthony was notably happier that week now that things between him and Ian were more or less sorted out. Sure, he couldn’t call Ian his boyfriend just yet but at least he no longer had to hide how he felt for the first time in ages. Ian couldn’t exactly deny that he enjoyed the sudden attention but sometimes it bordered on sexual harassment. It had started off innocently enough with just the occasional bump of the shoulder or lingering eye contact which had then transpired into practically grinding against him when they were in the kitchen.
As Ian reached up to grab a cereal bowl from the shelf, he suddenly became aware of Anthony standing very close behind him. “Morning Ian,” Anthony said casually, his breath tickling the back of Ian’s neck.
“Morning,” Ian replied without turning around, he was kind of afraid to. Instead, he concentrated on the task at hand, determined to let Anthony faze him. He knew that Anthony got a thrill out of witnessing his discomfort, it was slightly disturbing. Ian was sure he would be fine until he felt Anthony pressing even closer against him, his hips moving slowly against his butt. Just as Ian was about to protest, Anthony reached up to take the bowl from Ian’s hands. “Let me get that for you,” Anthony murmured and set the bowl down on the counter in front of them. Ian stared pointedly at Anthony’s arm which was resting on the counter, meaning that he effectively had his arm around him.
“Anthony, what are you doing?” Ian asked him calmly.
“Just trying to be helpful,” even though Ian wasn’t looking at him he could tell that Anthony had a stupid smirk on his face.
Reluctantly, Ian turned around to face him, their faces just inches away from each other. “Dude, can I have some personal space please?” Ian said whilst trying hard not to appear flustered as their lower areas were very close to touching.
Ian was half expecting Anthony to make a little drama out of it like how he usually did but this time he surprised him by simply giggling and giving Ian his much needed space. Needless to say, Ian ate breakfast in the safety of his room that day.

That incident, along with the many previous happenings, was the reason Ian eyed Anthony with suspicion when he suggested they went out to lunch together- without a camera.
“What’s the catch?” Ian narrowed his eyes as he searched Anthony’s face for any signs of upcoming mischief. All he could see though was the genuine smile that his best friend usually wore.
“No catch,” Anthony shook his head, still smiling. “I’m just kind of bored of eating cold pizza all the time and I thought you might be interested.”
“We have a microwave for a reason you know,” Ian pointed out.
“But that takes effort,” Anthony sighed dramatically. “So anyway, are you up for it?”
It sounded innocent enough to him. He decided to take the risk. “Sounds good,” Ian nodded.
Throughout most of the journey Ian laughed as he watched his friend thrash his head around and sing along loudly to his favourite songs, which Ian frequently teased Anthony about for being ‘emo rock songs’.
“Better than that dubstep trash you listen to,” Anthony had retorted one time to which Ian had no comeback.
“I tried so hard and got so far, but in the end it doesn't even matterrrr!” Anthony wailed loudly, singing badly on purpose of course.
“You have the voice of an angel,” Ian smirked.
“Why thank you,” Anthony put on a silly grin before continuing to sing, or screech depending on your definition, along to Linkin Park.
