After Hours

~Judy's P.O.V~

Have you lot ever wondered what me and Nick are always up to when the work hour's through? Well, the long wait is over, because I am going to be telling you all about what we usually do, but also bearing in mind I'm giving you guys a CLEAN account, if you want a dirty one, use your imaginations because children could be reading this. So enough stalling; let me set you to scene.

It all started last Friday, we both finished our jobs for the day, to be honest, it was quite a slow day, not many serious crimes were being committed, only simple ones like littering and parking in handicapped spaces, stuff like that. Anyways, I decided to head home early and make a well deserved carrot smoothie, but I guess from that moment onwards, I had to make a reign check as Nick had something in mind.

"Say carrots, there is a new movie being released in the cinema's today, I was wondering if you wanted to come with me" Questioned Nick

I was really elated by Nick's offer I could nearly burst, but I didn't show it to him, for number of reasons, one of them is that I didn't want my other colleges finding out we are deeply in love with one and other. Mainly because I have no idea how would they react or just it seems really un-natural for a fox and a bunny to be going out, or even hanging out.

"Sure, that sounds great, what movie are we seeing?" replied Judy, acting nonchalantly.

I immediately knew from Nick's reaction that this movie would be highly inappropriate for me. But Nick told me we're going to be watching a Romantic film called "Forever yours". I was instantly sent into a short state of shock knowing that the toughest and strongest members of the ZPD watch a Romantic movie. Well I guess what ever they do for their past times is none of my business.

Regardless of what is the movie or what is about, I still accepted the invitation knowing that we will have a good time overall. Nick then rubbed my head playfully and gave me a quick affectionate kiss on the fore head when no one was looking. I then let out a small inaudible squeal of excitement, although I have a bad hunch that Nick might've heard that considering that foxes are part of the canine family and that they have sensitive hearing.

"I'll pick you up at 7:30 at your apartment; make sure you'll be ready by then because I will give you the best night of your life!" Quoted Nick

My face flushed a bright red colour once more; this is because every time Nick says something rather "dirty" I just can't help but to turn like a tomato. But I shook myself in order to keep myself to stop thinking about those "things".

We then both headed home, or in Nick's case, he heading to his van. I then scrounged my closet to find a decent outfit for me to wear to the movies, but all I could find is my old farm clothes and my police uniform. I don't usually do a lot of shopping, maybe the reason why is that I'm always occupied with work that I never got the time. But after 15 minutes of constantly throwing my clothes onto the bed I finally found the perfect outfit. It was my mom's old dress; she probably gave it to me when I first moved into Zootopia. The dress was amazing, it was all pink from top to bottom, I'm assuming this is because pink is associated with romance. There were purple and red sequences sown on at regular intervals, making a magnificent pattern. It also had a matching hat to finish the dress. I then tried it on and I was really surprised how it fits me just perfectly, I then put on the hat and it really emphasises the really message that going across, saying "Look at me, I'm dating a predator and I'm not afraid to show it".

But then again I had second doubts with the hat, mainly because I look like one of those rich people who like to flash their clothes at other people making them feel like a complete peasant. I don't want Nick ending up thinking like that, so I just put it away for safe keeping and just wore the dress.

I then examined myself in the mirror and I look rather stunning, though I was still hoping this would help me avoid being seen by my other co workers.

"Oh dear, why do I have this terrible feeling at the bottom of my stomach making me sense that something might go wrong tonight." Muttered Judy.

I was so worried about our little date, my mind started to be filled with dark thoughts on what would be the dire consequences of going through with this.

"What if this movie is a horror movie, it will scare me to death. What if Nick abandoned me, leaving me to rot all alone."

I had no idea what will happen or what will be the aftermath of this date. But I knew if I decided to bail on Nick, I knew that I he would never look at me the same way ever again. I took a couple of deep breaths in and cleared my mind of all those nasty things.

"It's just a date, Judy, Nick is a really trustworthy guy, sure hey maybe a vicious predator, but he does a have a heart, right?"

I looked at my clock, and I realised that Nick will be coming to pick me up very soon. Even though I felt a bit anxious, I just ignored every negative comment that is going through my mind. I took my lucky charm and strapped it around my hand.

For the record, I am really superstitious; I have always believed that whenever I wear my lucky charm, good things always come my way. I've had this with me since I has a baby bunny, I guess the reason why this bracelet always works for me is that I plays an important role of who I am.

I then heard the sound of a car being pulled up on my drive way, I knew that was him, I grabbed my stuff and bolted out straight outside. You could say I was really eager to start this date. The moment I went outside, I saw Nick wearing a black tuxedo with a red tie. You know I've always pondered what is up with Nick and his ties.

"Ready, carrot cake? I really don't want to be late for the opening scene of the movie."

I then rushed into his car with no hesitation; Nick then got in and drove us to the theatre. The journey only took us 15 minutes. When we both arrived, the theatre looked rather full, but I guess some other people are having the same concept of a "date". Nick then escorted me out of the vehicle and into the theatre.

I was really flattered by the gentle man like attitude; I couldn't help but start giggling like an innocent school girl. I regretted doing that as it wasn't quite a wise move for me as everyone around us started looking at me with a confused reaction wiped across their face.

I then covered my face in utter humiliation as Nick continues to hold my hand as he guides me into our screening room. After we got seated, we both started watching the movie.

The film ran over an hour, I got to admit; Nick does really have an eye for a good movie. There were scenes that were touching, so were moving, and you probably you wouldn't guess what I was going through the whole duration of the movie.

I was cuddling with Nick as he wraps his arms around me, we both kissed as the movie went on, practically, we did a lot more making out than watching the actual thing.

"Who needs to watch a romantic film while I have you, y sweet, little, dumb bunny" Whispered Nick

Although I was quite bewildered, I was wondering why Nick bothered to spend is hard earned money to see a movie, so we can make out, we could've done it back at my place. But, I did have a wonderful night overall, so it is safe to say that I can end this little story of with a positive note.
