Once upon a time a movie was made by Tommy Wiseau. T’was a horrible movie that was forgotten, until now…
Hello everyone! Today I shall be reviewing the horrible movie that’s so bad it’s funny, The Room. The story is of a happy-go-lucky banker (Johnny/Tommy Wiseau) sees his world tear apart as his closest friends begin to betray him one by one. Especially his soon to be wife Lisa, a few months before they are to get married Lisa’s feelings for Johnny decrease by the second. She even starts to cheat on Johnny with his best friend, Mark. On Johnny’s birth-day he finds out about Lisa and Johnny, and gets very angry. He makes everyone leave and destroys his furniture and everything he owns. In the end he finds his secret gun in a locked chest, and commits suicide. He’s later found by Lisa and Mark. And they lived happily ever after.
Now, this may not sound like a horrible movie (besides the guy putting a bullet through his mouth at the end. The movie is bad and Tommy Wiseau has the strangest accent I’ve ever heard. Not to mention a character I left out in the story summary, Danny. Danny is a creepy bastard. Want me to prove it? At the beginning of the movie Danny literally asks Johnny and Lisa if he can watch them make love. I don’t know about you, but that’s pretty scary. And for some reason throughout the movie Johnny and his friends play foot-ball a lot, I mean they actually aren’t even playing football, they’re just throwing it back and forth. Not to mention at the very end of the movie when Lisa and Mark find Johnny’s dead body, Lisa literally asks Mark, “Is he dead.” And “Wake up Johnny.” There are actually a lot of stupid and awkward things that happen throughout this movie too.
