My name is Colin Conners I'm twenty-two years old and I am in college for graphic arts. My dream has always been to become a video game designer, ever since I saw the Mario games. I'm studying in Brookyln, New York at Pratt Institute. My friends Preston, Mary, Sara, and I are all in our second year of college.

Preston is the kind of friend that will make you get out there and meet new people. He is ridiculously outgoing which I guess that is why he is engaged at the age of 19. Then there's Marry, Preston's fiance. Well actually I don't really know that much about her, even though she is really friendly , all I really know about her is that her family is rally wealthy, which is pretty cool. And Sara is very quiet, but always happy. But that's just how I've always known her, considering we've been friends since elementary school

*BEEP BEEP BEEP*

My alarm clock started going off. I slammed my hand on the snooze button, making it fall off the table. It was 6 in the morning and school starts at eight. So I started getting ready

"Colin over here!" I heard a voice call me and I knew right away that it was Preston. I turn around and see Preston, Marry, and Sara all sitting at a table in the school yard.

"Hey man" they all said, the girls mostly trying to mock Preston.

"So man, when are we going out and picking you up a girl" he asked me

"Preston" Sara rolled her eyes while looking at him

"What? I'm getting married, so as a wedding gift he is going to pick up a chick. He already agreed to it." He told them pointing his thumb over to me

"I can't believe you did that" Sara said once again with a roll of her eyes

"He wouldn't stop bugging me about it so I gave in"

The rest of the day passed by pretty normal. The bell rang, signaling that it was time to leave.

"Colin can I speak to for a moment" Mr. Swonner asked me before I had a chance to leave.

"Yes sir"

"It's about your last few tests" he told me. The moment he said that a river of possibilities shot into me head.

"Yes, is something wrong"

"Yes, actually" he told me with sad eyes

"You've gotten seventies and lower on these last few tests. And your me best student and I just wanted to make sure you are okay"

"Well I haven't been getting to much sleep I've been up studying"

"Well you need to start sleeping. I'm willing to give you a special project to rase your grade."

"Yes, what is it"

"I want you to write me a 12,000 worded paper on a plot to a new video game. I'll give you three days. Tonight only write half, day after write in your free time and sleep the night, and finish on the last day"

"Okay thank you" I thanked him walked out.

It was 9 and I haven't started on the paper I got done with homework an hour ago, after taking a 10 minute nap I was tired. I decided to go out and get coffee. I google the closest coffee shops to were I was. I got into the car and started driving to a coffee house called the Oliverson's Coffee House. I soon arrived and it was still open surprisingly, since it is now 10. I walk in and there's only a few people. I walk a couple steps and hear someone calling my name, I turn and see Marry.

"Oh. Hey Marry. What are you doing hear"

"I'm visiting my friend Grace" we walk to the front desk.
When we get there I hear someone from behind the counter mumble something, and a thud. And suddenly, a pretty girl with short blonde hair and blue eyes appears in front of me.

"Colin this is my friend Grace. Grace this is Colin," Marry said, and the hole time Grace's eyes were glued to mine.

"Nice to meet you" I say holding out my hand to her
"You too" she said shaking it.

"So what would you like" she asked me

"Umm. One black coffee" I told her handing her the money. (There's a little joke for those of you who watch John Mulaney)

"It's on the house" she offered. I looked at her confused but thanked her.

Marry and I found a table outside and started talking.
"So how's wedding planing going?" I tried to continue the conversation after a few minutes of silence had passed, but Mary went silent and zoned out
"Merry" I said waving my hand in front of her face. Her eyes widen as she looked at me.

"What? Marry?"

"Oh, sorry I think I forgot to turn the oven off. I'll text Preston to make sure"

She pulled out her phone and started typing. After that we returned to our conversion, and for another hour we talked.

At about 11:50, I saw Grace walking out of the coffee house. Actually, more of a hurried speed walk. It seemed a little suspicious. When she started running away I excused my self from our conversion and started followed her.

After about 10 minutes of walking in the woods she came to a stop. The moon shined on her face, and her face looked relaxed. Then suddenly... Her hear started turned white and growing. Her nails grew as well. I could hear her groans of pain, and suddenly it stopped it went dead silent.

*pop*

EARS JUST POPPED OUT IF HER HEAD!!! I didn't know what to do so I ran.

I made it back to my dorm without a problem, and sat on my bed thinking about the events that just took place and came to the concision that I had imagined the whole thing and started writing on the paper. Because I think I got my topic.
