Lexa stared into the orange flame, her focus blurring the other images around her.  Her ears deaf to the music and sounds of celebration going on around her as she sat atop her throne.  Her people and the Sky People were celebrating their new alliance.  Just an hour before the dreaded Wanheda, leader of the Skaikru bowed before her, pledging her allegiance to her.  She sat on her throne now contemplating what this meant.  Clarke kom Skaikru was not one to stay with her head bowed for long, but tonight for the sake of peace she behaved.

Her thoughts were interrupted when she saw Clarke dancing, blocking her view of the fire.  Clarke was wearing the blue-green dress from before, her eye make-up matching.  Her eyes blue flames in the light of the fire.  She watched almost hungrily as Octavia joined her.  Octavia looked as if she was ready for battle, wearing all black even her war-paint, her sword strapped to her back.  Her skin glistened with sweat.  She grabbed Clarke's hips from behind, pulling her tightly against her almost protectively.  At that moment Lexa felt jealously, a feeling she doesn't recall ever feeling.  She watched as they were both consumed by the music and whatever they were drinking before.  Octavia reached back grabbing the back of Clarke's head beckoning her Wanheda's lips closer as Octavia turned her head to kiss her passionately.  Clarke's fingertips brushed against the side of Octavia's neck, snaking its way down to the curve of her breast, stopping to rest on her exposed, tanned stomach.  Lexa could not take it any longer.  She jumped up from her throne and sauntered over to them.

"Octavia may I dance with your Wanheda?," she asked, head raised in  confidence and defiance.

"Of course, Heda," Octavia bowed her head to Lexa and stepped away.

"Heda," Clarke offered her hand to Lexa.

"Wanheda," she smiled and took her hand, pulling her against her chest.

Clarke buried her face into Lexa's chest, folding her hands and arms in so Lexa held all of her.  She could finally be Clarke just dancing with Lexa.  For a few hours they could hide from the demands of their people.  Tomorrow they would have to go back to being Heda and Wanheda of the 13 Clans.  Lexa's chin rested on the top of Clarke's head.  Clarke lost her strength, her resolve and she began to sob violently.

"It's okay now Clarke," Lexa whispered against her hair.

"It's over. Oso kik raun (We live as one)," Clarke sighed.

Lexa pulled back and cupped Clarke's chin lifting her head.

"Ai laik yu gona.  Ai keryon ste yun.  Ai tombom ste yun (I am your soldier.  My soul is yours.  My heart is yours)," she whispered to Clarke gently.

She kissed Clarke's lips gently.  Lexa's lips lingered for what seemed like an eternity before she pulled back to stare into electric blue eyes.  Sky met the dark green of the forest in Lexa's eyes.  Clarke pressed her cheek against Lexa's, grabbing the back of her neck roughly, making the commander gasp.

"I beg you Lexa do not betray me again.  I swear I will end you," she whispered harshly, breath hot against Lexa's cheek.

Lexa went down on one knee in the soft mud, looking up at Clarke.

"Ai badan yu op en nou moun (I serve no other)," her whisper scattered in the wind.
