Extended Summary;
Blinded by naivety, Poppy believed that no one would ever fall for her. But what she didn't see was the amount of guys that were piling at her feet, she just thought they were being friendly.
Poppy has survived a psychopathic Hale, a kanima, a pack of alphas, a dark druid, a nogistune, a were-jaguar, etc, and yet she still remains innocent. Being the best friend to Scott and Stiles, Poppy always found herself getting mixed with the supernatural.
She was the sister of Erica Reyes and Lydia Martin. Ever wonder why Lydia's parents split? That's right, Poppy's father, J. Reyes, had had an affair with Natalie Martin nearly 17 years ago and Natalie had gotten pregnant. Luckily, the Reyes family was able to stay together, unlike the Martin family. That made Poppy 16, turning 17. She came after Lydia and Erica, which also meant she was in her Junior year.
When she found out Erica was dead she was heartbroken. But Poppy had made a promise to Erica that she would always stay pure and kind to others. And that's what drives her throughout everyday.
Poppy sees only the good in people, she loves anyone who comes into her world. She is made purely of love and ecstatic energy. Her innocence continues to surprise her peers, it also draws them to her. No one would ever intentionally hurt Poppy, it'd be like someone hurting a puppy, you just wouldn't do it.
And now that her old friend has returned to Beacon Hills, she is euphoric. She befriends him immediately, unaware of his bad intentions. Her friends try to warn her, but, as always, she sees the good in Theo and ignores her friends worry.
