Chapter 1: The Storybook of Feelings

~Lloyd's POV

~Daytime

I had awoken to another day in Ninjago city. Today is Sunday, so I know I have training tomorrow since it's a weekday. I sighed, I wish I could take some weekdays off but still I remembered I had to become stronger each day.

Speaking of becoming more stronger, I also had something else on my mind. That would be Kai. Isn't Kai one of the most handsomest guy you would ever see? He is the best guy I know from my perspective. After Kai had saved me from that volcano, I could still see the light in his eyes when he reached his full potential. I guess he really did care about me....

Okay so back to what I was saying. I fell in love with Kai ever since he saved me from that day. I was to scared to tell him ever since. I mean he's my best friend I don't want to lose somebody that great in my life.

"LLOYD!" Jay screamed in my ear.

"WHAT!!!!" I got annoyed at that point.

"Cmon! Me and the guys are gonna go walk around for a little bit, all of us thought it would be fun if you joined."

"Fine but never and I mean never snap me out of my thoughts again like that."

"Okay Mr. Furious." Jay smirked and walked away.

So I started to get ready to walk around with them. We usually just do it cause were either bored, or we like to meet up with other people when we walk by them.

~Night time 

"Hey guys." I said calmly.

"Hey Lloyd." Cole said.

"Lloyd!" I saw Kai running up to me.

"Kai!" I said. Kai gave me a big hug and I really tried not to blush.

"I have to tell you something that happened to me later Lloyd."

"Why? Is it bad?" I said worried.

"No. I just need to tell you since your my best friend and all." Kai smiled.

"Thanks your my best friend to Kai." I smiled back.

"I'm always glad I have you to rely on Lloyd." He smiled again and I couldn't help but blush lightly.

"Thanks it means a lot."

~Kai's POV

Me and the guys started walking near shops and restaurants and other types of places. When I saw Skylor I got a worried look. That's who I needed to tell Lloyd about....

"Kai?" Zane said with curiousity.

"Uh.... Yeah?" I said trying not to doze off.

"Are you feeling like your normal self? I know about the bad blood between you and Skylor."

Yes it's true. I told Zane about how Skylor yelled at me because I wasn't spending enough time with her. But I have been fighting so much lately and I just finished defeating Nadakhan with the other ninja. Is they're much more I can do?

"Do you guys wanna eat? We have been walking around for atleast 15 mintues now."

"Sure!" All the ninja said.

As we got in the restaurant, Lloyd sat close to me and I wondered how this restaurant dinner would go....
