My eyes open and I am in my room back home again. The blinds are shut and the room in grey. Papers are scattered all over the floor and my school books ripped and grafetied on. I hold a knife to my wrist but before I could do anything I hear a yell.

"Rachel!! Get down her now!" My father's voice echoes from down stairs.

I sigh and push myself off the ground. I trip as my converse shoe lace is wedged between my bed and the cupboard. I grown and tie my shoe face. I kick the knife under my bed and open the door slightly. My heart beat quickens with each step I take to reach the bottom floor.

"RACHEL!?"

"Yes father, I'm coming" I hurry along and see him sprawn out on the couch on his stomach with empty cans everywhere.

My eyes quickly revert to the sound that came from the TV and immediately I regret it. Oh god. I really did not want to see that. I try my best to shield my eyes from it and ignore the horrid sounds.

"What did you want me down here for" I ask softly. His eyes are glued to the TV as his eyeballs flex up into his head.

"Dad?"

"Oh yeah, get me a can of beers from the store, I'm all out" he says and turns back to face the TV.

"But dad you know I can't do that, I'm only 13 and it's illegal to buy-"

"I don't give a fuck! Just fucking get it!" He snaps.

"But I don't have any-"

"I don't care how you get it just do it!"

I sigh sadly and make my way to the door after tripping over a red can. I roll my eyes and open the door before slamming it shut. I put my hood up and wedge my cold hands into the pocket of my jacket. I breath and cold chilled air flows out. It's quite cold out tonight. The moon isn't out so it's quite hard to see. My boots hit the soft mud and I see the grocery store ahead. I enter and accidentally bump into a women.

"Oh sorry dear" she quickly apologises but I don't answer. Instead I try my best to shield my face from people. I spot the cans of golden deer brand alcohol in the red cans. $12,30...I have no money. I look up to see the sign 'attention, over 18 restricted area, all miners are to be accompanied by a parent or guarded' I swallow hard. What do I do? If I go home without the beer...I don't know what he'll do...but I don't have any money....should I just go to Steve and Anna's? They don't know what's helping and I don't really want to tell them...I don't want my father to get in trouble. I sigh frustratingly and make the only darling choice I have. I quickly grab the cans and stuff them into my jacket and walk to the door.

"Hold on there girly" the old man at the counter rasps.

"Yes sir?" I say in a boy voice and refuse to face him.

"I saw you over by the alcohol..."

"I don't know what your talking-"

"Empty out your pockets now" he says firmly. My heart beat quickens. It's or never. I quickly run out the shop and bolt down the street, not looking back. I hold onto the cans tightly and my lip quivers wth anxiety as I refuse to open my eyes. Out of breath I reach the door and open it. I shut it but freeze in place. I hear something, it sounds like the couch Spring moving. Huh? The sound gets quicker.

"OH Oh ahh, oh my oh" a high pitched female voice echoes through my hear drums.

As I step into the lounge room I gasp in shock and all the cans fall from my jacket. Oh oh my god, oh my god! I look up in disgust as a naked female is sprawn out on the edge of the couch with her legs spread and my father on top of her. They look my way suddenly when they hear the cans drop. I look up in disgust. I'm going to puke. Oh my god. I quickly bolt up the stairs not looking back and shut my door and lock it behind me. I grab my phone and my Peter Pan book while getting under my covers for safety. I hug my fairy and plug the head phones in and smack them onto my ears and blast music into my ears. It's okay Rachel, just breath, breath everything will be okay, everything will be okay everything will be okay everything will be okay everything will be okay everything will be okay everything will be okay everything will be okay. I sing to myself calmly,

"Think of a wonderful thought...think of every little thought...you can fly you can fly you can fly..." I sing as tears spring into my innocent hurt eyes and I squeeze my eyes shut tight.

"I wish you were here Peter" I struggle to say and fall asleep finally.

....

I awake and I am not in my room back home but in the room of the tree house. It takes me a while to realise. What? What happened? How did I get here? I sigh. I forgot about that memory... That was 5 years ago. I shake it off and get up off the bed and my clothes are stained with mud. Huh? ...oh....there was a storm last night. I look to my right and notice a cup of hot chocolate and bacon and eggs on a plate. My eyes widen. The smell travels up my nose and my stomach rumbles. My eyebrow rise. This a trick? You can never be too careful here. And where did this come from? All people eat here is fish. I struggle to decide whether to eat it or not. I press my lips into a thin line and ruffle my eyebrows. I look down at myself and I'm getting awfully skinny...I sigh again and sit on the edge of my bed with the plate on my lap. I hold the bacon to my nose and sniff. Smells delicious...I bite down and taste it. My eyes fling open and I quickly shove all the food and hot chocolate down in less than 10 minutes. Ohh it's been ages since Iv eaten a proper meal. I put the empty plate down and open the door. The storm has stopped and there are some fallen branches. The lost boys are clearing the camp and chopping up the branches. I look around and see Tobey and Simon carrying the plants that have sprung from their roots across the camp.

"hey" I say.

"Oh hey, are you okay? That was one of the worst storms we've had last night, we are glad you got to shelter in time" they say worriedly.

"...yes...well me too, uhh, I was just conserving, did you two by any chance happen to make me bacon and eggs?"

"Bacon and eggs? ...sorry no we didn't" Tobey says in confusion.

"Okay, I was just wondering, do you need any help here?"

"No, we're fine, just-"

"Hey sugar! Good morning" a male yelled out.

Great, Sam.

"Good morning" I answered back.

"Ohh being nice are we?" He says as he walks from behind the tree shirtless.

I turn around and walk away from him. I hear him chuckle behind me but he does not follow me to my relief. I make my way further into the forest and sit down beside a tree and lean my head against it. I hear a stick crunch loudly and I jump a little. I then hear a sound, sounds like a lemur.

"Ohhh ahahaha ya ohhhhhh"

I scream and run back to back. Oh my god what was that?! It sounded like one of those things that jumped on me when Pan and I were walking to the mermaid lagoon. I run back to camp panting and lean my head against a tree.

I hear a cough and I look up. Oh god. My eyes meet with Pan's and we awkwardly stand there.

I breath out slightly. I should just walk away now. I shouldn't talk to him. Not after what he did. Not after our fight. I shouldn't. But for some reason I can't help myself.
