Chapter 6

When the movie started I've noticed something, Hyelin is scared but never even touched Jinhwan a single bit nor tell him that she's scared. It's obvious that Hyelin is scared, it's written all over her face. So why didn't Jinhwan do anything, didn't he notice that Hyelin is scared?

"You know what? This is boring lets not watch this." I suddenly said sitting up. Since Jinhwan is not helping the poor girl, I will.

They all looked at me as I grabbed the remote and turned off the tv.

"But I thought you like this movie? You said it's the best horror movie ever." I glared at Junhoe and slightly eyed Hyelin, signalling him. But obviously this dummy have no idea what I'm talking about.

"Maybe that's the reason why it's boring, I watched it too many times, I can memorize all the lines now." They simply nodded.

"So what now?" Jinhwan asked,, I shrugged my shoulders and look at Hyelin.

"Hyelin, what do you wanna do?" I asked her with a smile on my face.

She looked around the room and then back to me, shrugged her shoulders. "I don't know..."

"Kids, it's okay to go home now, I'm going to sleep anyway. There's no need to stay here with me." We looked behind and saw mom staring there with a towel around her neck and her hair is damp. Guess she just finished bathing.

"Okay then, since we have nothing to do here." Seriously tho, I want to stay here with my mom, have some mother and daughter moment.

We stood up and walked to the door, Junhoe passed me my coat and I mouthed a thank you.

Just when we're about to leave, I turned back and ran to my mom and hugged her. "I love you mom, next time I'll come here alone and we'll have some mother and daughter moment. Oh wait, maybe with dad too, family moment sounds nice too."

She smiled and patted my head softly. "Sure Hae ah... As long as I can spend some time with you it's fine."

I know my mom can sometimes be annoying and always say Junhoe is better than me, that she love Junhoe more than me. I know that she love me, she's my mother anyway.

I pulled out and kissed her cheek. "I should get going then."

She nodded and I walked to Junhoe and wrapped my arm around his.

"Bye mom!" We shouted and left the place.

"So I guess we should get going then." Jinhwan asked after we left my mother's house.

I nodded while smiling and Hyelin bowed her head.

"It's nice seeing you guys again... really." Jinhwan said, I smiled widely and walked to him. I placed my hand on his head and ruffled his hair.

"It sure is, meeting the two of you again." He smiled and I turned around but he quickly grabbed my wrist.

I quickly looked and him, there's no smile on his face. He opened his mouth but nothing came out.

I saw Hyelin looked down at her feet from the corner of my eyes.

But before Jinhwan can say anything, Junhoe pulled his hand away.

"How many times do I have to tell you to not grab my wife's hand." He said with anger written all over his face. "Let's go."

Junhoe pulled me away and I looked back and met Jinhwan's eyes. They're... full of pain and sadness... why...?
