Tonight was my night. I was seeing Of Mice & Men and I was stoked. Not to mention the meet and greet I got to attend after. My friend Lauren was picking me up soon, and I was still debating which one of the OM&M shirts I should wear. I picked the one with Austin on it and with a big "&" in the background. I had my skinny jeans on too, and sneakers.

Thirty minutes later, Lauren picked me up. She was just as excited as I was, but I had to hold it all in for the concert. I still couldn't believe it. I was about to meet the band that saved my life, and hear them play the music I so hopelessly fell in love with.

"I can't wait!" Lauren exclaimed, with a huge grin on her face.,

"Neither can I.": I said, somehow calm and reserved.

"You're kidding. Are you happy about this at all?"

"Of course I am! I just want to save it for the concert."

She laughed and shrugged off the whole conversation.

Ten minutes passed while we waited for the concert to start. "They should be out soon, I can't take the wait it's so fucking annoying." Lauren said, breaking the silence. "Yeah, I just want to get into the Wall of Death." I replied.

Suddenly, we hear guitars playing and drums beating. You could feel the excitement, for it flooded the room. They started out with "Seven Thousand Miles For What?" and everyone cheered and screamed. The rush of the crowd was just what I had expected. It was amazing. The people here understood how I felt, and this officially was the best night of my life.

Unfortunately, the concert ended. But Austin came out for one last time and said, "Thank you all for coming out. We love performing for you guys, and we hope to see you again. Have a good night!"

The line for the meet and greet was really long, but we were part of the first twenty. I had my poster for them to sign, and they were just a few feet away. Fuck. I'm gonna freak out and they'll think I'm psychotic. Only ten people left now. Eight. Six. Four. Two.

"Hi! What's your name?" Austin asked. "Y/N," He smiled. Really wide, and took my poster. He gave it to Alan, and he gave it to Aaron, so on. But instead of giving it back to me, he wrote something else on it. "See you soon," and we were escorted out of line. I looked at the poster, and it said:

"It was nice to meet you. Maybe we can talk some more? ;-)" And had his number on it.
