I'm trying something new! Hope you all like! I did use some Danish in here, no idea if it's right, but okay! I did use the translation after the Danish phrase.

Let me know how it was!

Thanks!

Prologue

"Emile Lauren Sofia Stryker." My mother said as she put her hands sternly onto her thin hips.

I sighed. "Mor. Jeg ønsker ikke at gå til Amerika. Jeg ønsker ikke at blive afsendt off!" (Mom. I do not want to go to America. I do not want to be shipped off!)

I did not want to be taken to America. There are some major threats on our kingdom recently. Yes, I am a princess. My mom and dad are the King and Queen of Denmark! It is a very stressful job for them. How do you think I feel? I am pressured daily by them to take over the kingdom when I am 18! I am turning 18 next month, so I am being sent to America to throw off the possible threats on my life.

She narrowed her eyes at me and gave me that 'I am not playing' type of look."Unge dame, er der ingen, hvis er, og er eller men er på dette! Du kommer til Amerika!" (Young lady, there are no if's and's or buts on this! You are going to America!) She said in her thick Danish accent.

I sighed in defeat. I knew that there were no hopes of me getting out of this. I am going to America and its official.

I went upstairs and pushed past my personal nanny. She is the one who raised me, so practically she is more of a mother to me than my own. She is the only one that I speak English to.

"Honey is something wrong?" Agnes said quietly to me.

I turned to look at her with tears in my eyes. Her weathered, old face was full of sadness as she looked at me.  "What is it?" She asked as she held onto my elbows.

I looked into her paled brown eyes. "Mom is sending me to America..."

She pulled me into a comforting hug.  I did not want to leave. Would these people know that I am the princess?

After I cried, she helped me pack.  I looked over to her with a sad expression. "How am I supposed to do this?"

"You will be okay my child." She said kindly.

I pinched the bridge of my nose. "What if I cannot do it?"

She placed her hands on my face, making me look at her. She looked deeply into my eyes and said,"Dit hjertevil guide digmit barn."(Your heart will guide you my child.)

I just nodded. You never underestimate her words. She was always right. She kissed my head and a butler came up and grabbed my things. My mom ordered me into the salon. I looked at myself in the mirror. My beautiful, long, brown locks were turned blonde. My long curls were cut right under my breasts. I now have wispy front bangs. The blonde really suited my face better.  My blue eyes were bright from my constant crying today.

I looked once more in the mirror before heading out the door. I got into the limo and headed to the airport. My mother gave me some jeans and a t-shirt to wear.  I am not ready for this! I'm going undercover.
