SHORT AND SWEET CHAPTER (IM POSTING MORE TOMORROW!)
We all began to walk in a line on the first street we got too. Alex told all of us we had to walk down this street for about 5 hours and wed be at a small bus stop on the outside of new york city. We all cheered sarcastically. This was gonna be a looong quest. I took my ipod out of my bag while Alex began to rambel to himself about how many step it would literally take to get there. I plug my earphones into my ipod and escape to my world of music.

My earphones are ripped out of my ears right in the middle of my favourite song, if I die young by the band perry. I swear that song is my life recorded and turned into a song. I love music, it's always been a passion of mine, I listen to about any kind of music, pop, rock, country.. Etc... It is my escape from the world.
"HEY!" I protest!
"Earth to Treebrain!" Spencer smiles playfully.
I look up to see weve stopped in front of a abandoned gas station. I quickly look over to Alex and he seems to be breaking into it.
"What are you doing?!" I question him, razing an eyebrow.
"Weve been walking for 2 hours, what do you think hes doing?" Raven snaps back. She gets like that when she's tiered. I cant believe we've been walking for that long. Wow, I can zone out.
"Oh," I respond.
"So were just gonna walk into a random gas station, any monster could just walk on in and kill us!" I say as I follow my friends into the station.
"Why dont we just lock the door and take night shifts?" Spencer questions while we drop our bags to the ground. I look around the station, its your average gas station just a little dusty. All the stuff is still in here, odly enough. I just go with it though and seat myself on the check-out counter.
"Thats not a bad idea." Alex speaks and looks up from his map for the first time.
"Uh, yeah it is." Raven mutters.
"Just let them do it, one of us will be awake at all times." I tell Raven. She sighs.
"Whatever." She answers picking up a Crispy Crunch from the side of the counter and peeling the wrapper off.
"Oh good idea!" I tell her as we all begin to pig-out on the candy, then stuffing it into our bags.

"Ill go first" Alex says while we all moan on the ground. Too much candy. Wayyyyy too much candy. Alex gets up and sighs, then goes and grabs a knife.
"You guys just go to sleep, okay?" he told us. We all just nodded, too lazy to argue.
we all re-position our-selves and begin to drift off to sleep. The other soon drifting off and me staying awake. Of course Smith begins to do crazy Tartarus stuff. I even hear him open the cashier. Thats crossing the line!
"Smith what in Zeus 's sake are you doing?!" I whisper violently, knowing Spencer and Raven were asleep.
"Oh shit." He says urgently. I'm surprised by his swearing, that could only mean one thing, trouble.
"What?!" I ask getting up quickly and walking around the counter then up beside him while he muttered swear words.
"Drachmas!" He says while he holds the gold coins in my face.
"So?!" I ask curiously.
"Don't you get it! If there is drachmas here, that means this place is for Demigods, gods, and everything in between!" He says his face gone pale.
"Yes, and?!" I question, why was this a big deal?!
"Willow, if there was demigods here, monsters would have come around on a daily basis, so when this place closed down, don't you think they would have stayed around?!" He told me grabbing onto my shoulders and shaking me, as if I was an idiot that couldn't figure this out. Oh I figured this out, we were in deeeep... What alex said before. Just as I was about to yell to everyone to get up and leave immediately a loud hissing noise catches mine and Alex's attention. We look up to the doorway of the stations basement to see it, a half-awake Hydra right in front of us. Oh. Lord. Hades.
"Guys!" I whisper as the Hydra looks around. It's got to find us soon. I press my wheat symbol and feel the whip growing in my hand I see alex preparing with his knives.
"Whaaat?!" Spencer yells groggily. The Hydra bellows, hearing our presence. Good going Spence. Immediately, Raven is on her feet, wide awake and bow and arrows in hand. Spencer isn't quite as fast as he slowly gets up, the hydra begins to hiss and strut towards us in huger. It corners Spencer and we are all too much in shock to realize how much in danger he really is. Just as the hydra begins to pounce, a crutch hits the top hydra head right in the eye. We all turn (including the Hydra) to the cause. A small smile curves my lips when I see them. There is maple on Zander's shoulders, her crutches in hands as they both smirked.
"Bullseye." Maple mutters as she winks.
This was gonna get interesting.
