Chapter 2- Friendzoned?

Jacob's POV

Damn that girl tho. I mean like did you see her. And her friend cat is cute too. "OMG THAT WAS JACOB SARTORIUS AND YOU JUST GAVE HIM YOUR NUMBER! YOUR SO LUCKY!" I heard cat say from lids. I chuckled and sat down at Starbucks getting on my phone. " Hey aren't you Jacob Sartorius?" I heard a familiar voice say. "Yeah that's me" I looked up and saw Emma. "Omg hey Emma!" I said giving her a huge hug. She just laughed and sat down next to me. "So what are you doing here in New York?" She asked me looking into my eyes. "Oh well I was coming to NYC and I came by Woodbury and I was like let's go there and then I ended up at the mall here" I explained to her. I didn't even know she lived here. "Are you following me" she giggles. Nah jk" she said laughing a little harder. I just smiled at her. "Well have fun at the mall I'll see you around" she said getting up and pushing the seat in. "Bye Emma!" I said hugging her really tight. "Bye Jacob Sartorius" she said kinda sadly. She walked out of Starbucks. A few minutes later I decided to get up and I walked around the mall.

Dillon's POV

"I'm home!" I yelled into my house when Cat dropped me off. No answer. Looks like no one is home. I brought my bags upstairs and I flopped on the bed. Ugh I'm never going to the mall again. I sighed. Then I got a text from someone. I picked up my phone and saw

***-***-****: Hey Dillon it's me Jacob...
Dillon: oh hey Jacob. What's up
Jacob: nm. I was just wondering if you wanted to hang out like go to the Drive ins tonight.
Dillon: oh yeah that seems cool. What time does it start
Jacob: it opens at 7:00 can I pick you up around 6:30
Dillon: yeah okay. See you then Sartorius
Jacob: Bye!

"Hey mom I'm going to the drive ins with some friends I'll be back soon!" I then go outside and sit on my porch. I already had a book out so I picked it up and started reading. "HEY KID LETS GO" someone says. I look up and it's Jacob. I give him a smile and I put my book down and grab my phone. I head down my porch stairs and into Jacob's car. His mom gives me a smile and I return the favor. She then drives off.

"Bye Mom thanks love you!" Jacob says. I smile at her. " thanks for the ride Mrs. Sartorius" I say trying to be polite. "Your welcome! You two be good! And tell Emma I said Hi." She drives off. Does she mean Emma Kilburn? She's the most popular girl at my school. She knows Jacob? "Come on let's go" Jacob says grabbing my hand. We get to a car with about 5 kids. Emma, Brice, Mikey, Vanessa, and Will. All these people are popular. I must have had a dumb founded look on my face Bc Vanessa comes over and asks what's wrong. "Oh nothing I'm fine!" I actually was fine. I felt a little awkward but I was fine. She smiles at me and leads me to a spot in the back of their white Jeep Wrangler. We then got up to get some food from the concession stand. I got popcorn and some candy bars.
2 hours later. And the movie began it was Finding Dory and BFG

We were half way through BFG and everyone fell asleep except Jacob, Emma, and I. Jacob and Emma were sitting really close to each other and I sat across from them. Every now and then Emma would look at Jacob and smile. He invited me and then he flirts with Emma. What does he think we are just friends or something? I thought he actually liked me.
