Percy's POV
As I stared at Annabeth's face slowly falling to the ground, I reached forward to catch her, but she fell too soon, her body forcefully slamming against the rock floor. A jagged stone sent a piercing line of blood down her beautiful, now pale, face. From her blonde hair line down to her chin was a taunting red, dripping river of cold, red blood.
I gently lifted her up against the now scrunched up blanket. I raced to the basket and grabbed an extra blanket. The cream, white blanket was dyed velvet red.
I stoked her face, softly chanting her name.
"Please Annabeth. Wake up please. Annabeth!" I desperately yelled, louder than before.
How could one perfect moment, turn into a horrible nightmare that haunted me fro hte past week? I was always worrying that something bad would happen, the worst being that she said no. But I'm pretty sure that this is right up there with the worst. How should I call Will? It would be best to go and call him but I can't leave Annabeth.
I gingerly picked her up, careful to make sure her head doesn't flop down. I swiftly carried her over to the entrance of the cave. I grabbed a piece of napkin from the basket and quickly scrawled in pen to Will.
Will,
Annabeth and I are at the cave. I need you to come ASAP. Annabeth has a head injury. Please bring the nurse and medical supplies.
,Percy
I quickly prayed to Athena to send an owl to deliver the message. Apparently the wizards use owlsall the time as well. I found it strange. Owls are cool, but for transportation? Personally, I think it's a bit old school.
Right when I finished praying, a huge, brown barn owl, spotted with white spots around his face swooped down and landed on the worn basket. I quikly rolled up the piece of teared napkin and wove it around the owls slender leg. He quickly tweeted and then took flight above the treetops and soared over the rippling lake. If we were in a better situation, the serenity of the place would have been calming. But the eerie shadows dancing across the yellow grass sent shivers up my spine.
When a soft tap on my shoulder brought me out of my daydream, I instinctively reached for Riptide. But the person who disrupted me was just Will with the supplies.
"Percy I came as fast as possible! I got everything and quickly told the nurse! She is on her way but I came here as soon as I could!" he gusged out really fast. I only just understood his jumbled words.
"Annabeth is right over here." I hurriedly lead him over ot where I placed Annabeth in the shade of a cedar tree. Will gto to work while I stared at Annabeth's hidden grey eyes. I wanted her to open her beautiful irises, revealing her grey pools. I didn't know anything that Will was doing but he was working fast. I softly put the ring box back into my back pocket. It's too bad the question was left unanswered....

Hermione's POV
I was huddled in a corner, mourning over everything and nothing in general. My life had gone so well, up to that point where the demigods came. I was perfectly happy with Ron. Or was I? I was happy right?
All of these questions zoomed through my mind I didn't even hear the scuffling of shoes or the throat being cleared. The soft tap on my shoulder brought me to my senses, and at first I was startled but then I saw the familiar face of my best friend, Harry Potter.
"What's wrong Hermione?"
"It's nothing. It's something more personal and troubling than usual and I don't want to really talk about it." I sighed as Harry plopped down next to me. Harry may be bad with talking, flirting and getting girls, but he's way good with my guy problems.
"Hermione you can tell me anything. We saved the world together I think you can tell me something that's troubling you." he replied, being his usual sweet, best friend-self. I sighed again and let everything I've carefully bottled up and let it flow out. Harry didn't even say anything to the end of my explanation.
I finished explaining my situation with Ron and my feelings for Percy, he finally spoke up.
"Hermione, I don't really mean to be mean, but Percy is madly in love with Annabeth. It's not some crush, or temporary girlfriend, he really loves her." Harry said, speaking gently and lightly hugging me from the side. I leant my head against his shoulder as he played the brother act that I never had.Soft tears fell down my face as I lay there, hugging Harry and feeling more confused then ever.

Annabeth's POV
I groggily sat up as I came out of my sleeping state. My hand was being held and was lightly squeezed as my eyes fluttered open. The beautiful sight of my wonderful boyfriend. The events that happened before I blacked out flooded my mind and I sat bolt upright. My head felt immediately dizzy and I automatically lifted my hands up to hold it as the whole room was spinning. Percy proposed! How could this happen?! I was still a bit dizzy when I opened my shut eyes again.
"Annabeth what's wrong? Does something hurt? Should I call a nurse? Nurse!" he hollered at the end while he blurted out the rest.
"NO, no, no Percy it's fine I just got up too fast. And Percy-" but I got cut off as a nurse came bounding in with a doctor and second nurse hot on their heels.
"Yes what's the problem?" the first nurse asked.
"Don't worry it's nothing. I just got up a bit too fast and got a bit dizzy." I slightly mumbled as I glanced at the nurses. My gaze was always fixed on Percy as his eyes filled with worry and were laced with love.
"Are you sure there is nothing wrong?" the doctor asked gently. I shook my head slightly and quickly glanced at him before looking back at Percy. His hand slowly rose and slightly brushed away a lock of my hair. The doctors and nurses slowly retreated out of the room. Percy and I stayed, staring at eachother for what felt like forever, but could have been only 2 minutes.
He suddenly stood up from his plastic hospital chair and got down on his knee once again. He put his hand in his pocket and lifted out the familiar blue, velvet box. He looked up at me with nervous eyes, but still filled with love. He spoke the most beautiful 6 words in the world.
"Annabeth Chase, will you marry me?" he spoke softly and cautiously, waiting for my reply. Tears rimmed my eyes and spilled over, sending quiet tears down my slightly rosy cheeks.
My response was just barely over a whisper.
"Yes."
