As Denver ran out side with his best friend Judy, they kept hearing crying and little noises. But they just thought it was the neighbors new puppy. So when he wen't to ask them if it was he saw something moving in the bushes. He wen't over to see and saw a little puppy stuck in tons of thrones. He was brown and white and looked about 3 months old. He called Judy over and told her to get tools and gloves, and so she did. When's he came back she had so clamping tools and gardening gloves to protect them from thorns. When they got the puppy out, they tried to get him clean but he kept trying to stumble away from them.
So when Denver saw that he was majorly hurt, he told Judy that we need tweezers, rags, soap, and a bucket of cold water. Denver tied up the dog so he won't run away. They both wen't inside to grab the things and headed back outside. They cleaned up the puppy and took him inside to dry him off. The puppy kept shedding hair everywhere and it was very noticeable and that made Denver worry his parents would figure out about him. Denver wanted to keep the puppy but he wasn't aloud.
Denver snuck the dog into his closet, he got some leftover turkey and a bowel fool of water for the dog. Then he got some clothes from his closet so the puppy wouldn't escape from his closet when he tried to get dressed.He put some of his toys by the door so the puppy wouldn't bust out.
Denver's parents got back from around 6:36 so he had 20 minutes to figure everything out. When he thought everything out he called Judy and told her sorry for leaving the play date early and told her the plan.When his parents got home his heart started to beat so fast that it felt like his heart would just jump out. He was sweating like crazy too. His parents asked him what all the hair was about. He told them that a rabbit snuck into the house.
When he wen't to sleep that night his parents looked around his room and saw the closet light was on. They looked inside and saw the dog. The father took him by the fat on his neck and pulled him outside and......... BOOOM goes the gun. Denver heard the shot and rushed out side and saw the puppy living on the ground covered in red blood. A hole in his back and the last thing that dog saw was Denver on the ground crying his eyes out.
